POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We interrupt this months-long avalanche of 90s nostalgia to briefly engage in some more recent nostalgia: our collective socials media have alerted us that, 10 years ago this week, our last full-length "Three" came out. Once again, three friends went into a studio with some other friends, recorded songs they had written together, and shared them with the world. We're beyond grateful that, even after all these years, people seem to enjoy listening to them. Plus, it's fun to be in a band that's stretched from the 20th century into the 21st (if you haven't heard "Three" yet, head over to It's Alive Records. Thanks, Brother Adam!.

We're looking forward to celebrating some of our work from the *last century with you in a few months! It's crazy to think that "Goodnight, Sellout" turns 30 this year (weren't the 90s, like, 5 years ago?).

Thanks for always being part of the Plow United Family. Stoked to see you again!

❤️,

Sean

Got a @pw_etc x @jack_tatts_ tribute to Teddy today. Thanks to Peter for capturing this puppy portrait when our baby was still a baby. Super thrilled with how it turned out, now I get to see him smiling at me still everyday. #mrtnyc #leavemealonemydogdied

Often times our song titles had separate lives from their accompanying lyrics.
Often times, they Didn’t.

I’m not sure if we ever played “The Houngen” live; but it hosts several layers of meaning.

This WBTW is split into two, here’s part one.
Thanks to @pw_etc for the request and @princemidnightx for the assist.

The Impossibles released their Back 4 The Attack! EP on February 2, 1998, marking the end of the band at that time. The 5-song EP features cover artwork by Peter Wonsowski whose work you might know from Less Than Jake’s iconic EvoKid. These songs would later appear on the Anthology compilation in 1999.

NOFX: the Final Shows. Day 2, Faturday.
.
Holy shit. The response to yesterday’s poster had me riding high all day. Thank y’all so much! This was truly such a labor of love, it meant the world that folks were so into it. So without too much emotional fanfare: Here’s day 2!
.
This one is also chock-a-block with weird characters, ridiculous references, amazing bands, friends (and friends to be): I hope you enjoy digging thru, and finding some of the weirdness buried in it! And if you’re at the show today, snag one, sure, but also sing along for all of those of us who couldn’t make it out! (Seriously: holy shit this lineup!)

Michael Jordan. Wayne Gretzky. The Pinball Family & Distant Relatives compilation.

The greatest ska/punk compilation of all time. Fight me. Taxicab was on quite a few awesome comps in our day but this one takes the cake. @polishtrapeze needs to rerelease this Pinball Records masterpiece on vinyl. Just saying. Extra shoutout to @pw_etc for the iconic artwork.

Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) is on record as a lifelong advocate and ally for both LGBTQ causes and Animal rights. She has recently come out herself during the celebration of her 40th year as the iconic campy queen of Halloween. It is in her spirit of love that this project benefits both the ACLU(.org) and the ASPCA(.org)
