Being uncommitted is not a rejection letter.

It can be easy to fall into the comparison trap when commitments are constantly showing up on your feed. But every player’s path through the recruiting process is different.

Brian Dempsey shares an important message for uncommitted players: don’t fall into comparison, and understand that by the time you reach your senior year, it’s not “too late” to find an opportunity.

Keep working. Keep putting yourself in front of the right people. Your opportunity doesn’t have to look like someone else’s.

#Uncommitted 2027 IF @samuelpgrande59 of @olympiatitansbaseball has present strength throughout which translates to his overall game. From the right side of the plate during batting practice he created lift with easy upper half movements. Stands tall in the box with consistent mechanics and a balanced follow through. Produced plenty of hard hit line drives back up the middle with pull side power showing as well. Registered a top exit velocity of 96 mph. A fundamentally sound infielder who consistently plays with purpose and poise. Shows quick reactions on tough hops, stays composed when the game speeds up, and has solid footwork. Above average arm across the diamond. #DiamondCoverage #PowerUp #More4Most #DPMCoverage

#Uncommitted 2029 RHP/1B/OF @rf3elite2029 of @tnxlacademyducks has a long, tall, athletic frame standing at 6-foot-7, 200 pounds with enormous upside as the frame will continue to fill out, adding physicality which will translate to multiple jumps in his overall game. Stood out as a two-way at the @power_bsb 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp. On the mound he displayed a quick arm and creates some downhill action as he sat 81-83 mph with his fastball, touching 85 during his bullpen. Mixed in a low 70s curveball with depth, shape and a mid 70s changeup as well. Much more to come. Offensively from the right side he displayed a pure power swing with fast, strong hands. Lets the ball travel and drives it to the outfield with ease, displaying real power potential. Finds the barrel often and sprays the ball to both fields. Defensively he showed quality throws and movements from both the outfield and around the bag at 1B. #DiamondCoverage #PowerUp #More4Most #TNXLBaseball

#Uncommitted 2028 MIF @thebrooksmarkow of @stthomasaquinasbaseball continued to shine at the recent @power_bsb 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp as an overall prospect, consistently finding a way to make an impact. Prototypical leadoff hitter who takes quality ABs, works the count, and can drive the ball both ways for hard line drives. This was seen not only during batting practice, but during game action as well when he delivered an RBI single. Above average runner who gets good jumps on the pitcher, creates pressure on the base paths. Confident defender up the middle with lateral agility, accurate throws across the diamond. A must have player in the lineup. Strong follow this fall. #PowerUp #DiamondCoverage #More4Most #StThomasAquinasBaseball

#Uncommitted 2029 RHP/MIF @avillalona_29 of @sprucecreekbaseball was another one of the top two-way standouts at the recent @power_bsb 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp, showing his above average value as both a position player and arm. Lean, athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds. Loose, fast arm that ran his fastball up to 89 mph (has been up to 90 previously) and sitting 86-88 while mixing in a low 80s changeup and a mid 70s slider. More in the tank. Offensively the hands work through the zone, finding the barrel often for hard line drives. Look for jumps in gap-to-gap paper to come as he fills out his frame. Confident defender up the middle with accurate throws across the diamond topping out at 87 mph. Very strong follow. #DiamondCoverage #PowerUp #More4Most #CreekDog

#Uncommitted 2028 LHP/OF @jacob.leith28 of @stthomasaquinasbaseball was one of the top two-way standouts at the recent @power_bsb 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp, both on the mound and offensively. Projectable, athletic frame that will continue to fill out. Loose, quick arm that ran his fastball up to 89 mph, mostly sitting 86-88. Mixed in a mid 70s slider, upper 70s changeup as well. From the left side of the plate he shows the ability to drive the ball gap-to-gap which translated to a double off the left-center field wall during game action. Very strong follow this fall, will continue to make overall jumps. #DiamondCoverage #PowerUp #More4Most #StThomasAquinasBaseball

#Uncommitted 2027 C @matthew_wetherell31 of @trinitycelticsbsbl was another standout at the recent @power_bsb 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp, particularly during his batting practice session where he put together an impressive showing. Fast, strong hands through the zone with a present feel for the barrel, driving the ball with intent. Drove several pitches not only deep into the left-center field gap, but hammered a few over the left field wall showing off his present juice with a top exit velocity reading of 99 mph. Behind the plate he sticks pitches well, keeps the ball in front of him, and shows a strong and accurate throw to the bag. Consistent low to mid 1.9 secs for his pop time. Very strong follow this fall. #PowerUp #DiamondCoverage #More4Most #TrinityCatholic

#Uncommitted 2029 RHP/OF @carterlewis_44 showed off big time stuff at the recent @power_bsb 2026 Fall Season Tryout Camp, notably on the mound where he ran his fastball up to 92 mph. Long and athletic frame that will continue to add physicality. Fast arm that sits 88-91 and mixes in both a slider and changeup in the mid 70s. From the left side of the plate he produced multiple line drives deep into right, center field with present juice. Ball jumps off the bat. Topped out at 87 mph in his throws from the outfield. Very strong follow. #PowerUp #DiamondCoverage #More4Most #DPMCoverage
