There’s a reason the end credits of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ are getting almost as much attention as the film itself. Tucked into the credits is a montage of New York, ordinary streets and corners caught in golden light, set to Steve Lacy‘s ’Oh Yeah‘. It struck enough of a chord that creators started making their own versions, using the same idea to capture the cities they call home. Now those renditions are surfacing from across Asia. Creators in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei have put their own spin on the sequence, giving their own cities the same understated glow New York got on screen. Swipe through to see how they did it. Raju bhai for Nike Surat 📈 When I asked @leave_the_harsh and @arygupta what is quintessential to the vibe of Surat we had 2 clear answers: textiles and diamonds. Screen printing has always been the coolest techniques for me and these guys have been cooking some heat at the combined studio for @leavetherest_ and @kyd_archive in Surat. When it came to figuring out how to tease Nike Surat the vision was clear. The moment he sent images of our Hero , Raju Bhai who is the actual printing expert at KYD, I knew we were about to cook 👨🏾‍🍳 Shot and edited :@pxrxmt 🧞‍♂️
