A huge thank you to CoBL and Philly Youth Basketball for hosting the inaugural Philly Coaches Clinic at the Alan Horwitz “Sixth Man” Center! 🏀💜💛

Head Coach Garrett Horton had the opportunity to speak on a panel, while our Harcum Women’s Basketball players hit the court to run through drills alongside coaches from across the area. It was an amazing experience for both our coaches and players to learn, connect, and continue growing the game of basketball.

We appreciate the opportunity to be part of such a great event and look forward to continuing to build within the basketball community! 🐻⬇️

Have you ever felt like people remember one version of you, even while you’re growing into someone new?

I think a lot of former athletes know that feeling. People remember the school, the jersey, a good game, a bad game. And sometimes that’s the version of you they hold on to.

I’m proud of my basketball journey. But there have always been other parts of me, too. Interests, ideas, and things I wanted to build. Some started while I was playing. Others I’m still discovering.

It can be frustrating when people don’t see that. When you feel like you have to explain that there’s more to you than what they remember.

But I’m learning to be more comfortable with knowing who I am, even when someone else hasn’t caught up.

And this goes beyond athletes. Maybe people know you from your old job, your neighborhood, or a chapter of your life you’ve grown through. You can appreciate that chapter and still give yourself room to grow.

For me, being a kid from Philly, playing basketball around the world, and finding my way in business has all shaped how I show up today. I’m still learning how much I have to offer, and that gives me confidence to keep going.

People may know one part of your story. You get to keep living the rest of it.

Keep building. Set your own score.
