Is it perfect? Nooo.... is it progress? For sure.. slowly but surely I am learning how to make a portrait. I took some lessons, did a few courses, bought some books about the subject and I have been drawing every day now for over 1 year. I still consider myself a beginner but I feel I passed the 'awkward' stage🤣 I feel in drawing it is the same as with rollerskating: if someone else can do it, you can learn too😉
My advice would be to seek out those who can teach you and help you with initial foundational tips/tools. Learn from those who themselves have a good understanding of whatever it is you want to learn. If you want to learn how to skate you can definately come to us! If you want to learn how to draw you have to find someone else🤣🤭

This fall I will start learning how to make portraits with oil paint and I am beyond excited❤️

Btw. I took the course from @pypahs_art on how to draw faces and I really loved that one!

One thing I like to do is decorate my walls with photo frames. I use a mixture of junk speads , photographs and certificates to fill the wall so its only right that I make two for my time at @stationeryfest and use the stamps/business cards

A love story that crossed borders and found its perfect setting in Portugal. 🤍

It was an honour to welcome @pypahs_art and @hello_whitely and to be part of such a beautiful and heartfelt celebration, filled with unique details created by the bride herself.

Thank you for choosing Casa dos Meus Avós to be part of your story. ✨

some weddings stay with you long after the last dance, and this one definitely did.

the kind of day that felt effortless, full of movement, laughter, emotion and all the little moments in between.

pypah and tom are one of those couples who simply radiate love. the kind of love you can feel in the way they look at each other, and in the way they make the people around them feel.

thank you, pypah and tom, for trusting me to document such an important chapter of your story. it was an absolute joy to be part of it.

here’s to a lifetime of continuing a love like yours. 🤍

Here’s my haul from @stationeryfest 👀👀 I went a bit overboard. … I tried to tag everyone but wowowowo that’s a lot of stuff!

I uploaded a haul video the other day, if you want a full breakdown of everything I bought + all the happy yapping that comes with going to stationery fest.

I can’t wait for the next event! :D

Sketchbook tour from my first week and a half with this book!

I loved drawing as a kid then somewhere along the way I just …. quit. So I’ve decided to learn how to draw at 33! This is the first week or two of my journey! #drawing #learntodraw #newartist
