Hammersmith - FOUND FOOTAGE – OCTOBER 2022!

Straight from the Hammersmith archives!

We recently came across some previously unreleased live footage from one of our shows back in October 2022.

Featuring clips from three Motörhead classics:

♠️Rock ’n’ Roll
♠️Killed by Death
♠️Ace of Spades

The picture quality may not be perfect, but the energy, the noise and the rock ’n’ roll are all there!

Over six minutes of raw, unpolished Hammersmith – just the way we like it!

Enjoy this little blast from the past! 🤘

🔥 WANT TO EXPERIENCE HAMMERSMITH LIVE? 🔥

We’re still out there, keeping the spirit of Motörhead alive!

♠️ Back to 2022 – A NEW CHAPTER
IN HAMMERSMITH HISTORY! ♠️

Böhl-Iggelheim, Germany - Summer 2022.

A huge crowd, an incredible atmosphere and a new face on guitar!

It was Cris Steele’s very first show with HAMMERSMITH!

With just three weeks to learn 24 Motörhead songs, our new guitarist Cris Steele faced quite a challenge before his first show with HAMMERSMITH!

Among the crowd were some familiar faces, watching the new guy on guitar with a critical eye.

“Can the new guy deliver?” 😎

Well… we’ll let the music do the talking! 🤘😎🤘

Here’s a little flashback featuring a few short snippets from three Motörhead classics.

Unfortunately, that’s all the footage we have from that unforgettable night!

Were you there back in 2022? If you happen to have any more photos or videos from that show, we’d love to see them! Feel free to send them our way!

Four years later, Cris is still rocking the stage with us!

We are Hammersmith,
and we play Motörhead‘

Here's a blistering rendition of our song "Memphis Bound" from our show at the House of Blues Houston Foundation Room 🎶 It's one of our favorite ways to kick off a set! I had extra fun this time trading solos with Andrew Rhoads on trombone and JT Taylor on sax.

After two months of one handing a keyboard to cover gigs while recovering from my hand surgery, this week I was finally able to play some guitar again 🎉 I put a fresh set of my favorite Pyramid Nickel Classics strings on Tinkerbell in a slightly lighter 10-46 gauge than my usual and first tried it out at our Melon Jelly Thursday Jam at Crazy Cajun in Beaumont, TX. Friday night I played with the full band at Panorama Music House in Lake Charles, then yesterday we were back in TX for a Melon Jelly trio gig at Pour Neches by the river. I'm not 💯 percent yet for sure, but man it feels great to get my hand around the neck of my lovely Gretsch again ❤️❤️❤️

🎶 I played Tinkerbell, my Gretsch G6129T-59VS Silver Sparkle Jet for the entire gig and she felt WONDERFUL 🎶

Here I am taking Tinkerbell for a ride on our tune "Baby Please" at the Houston House of Blues 🎶 When I first saw this Gretsch G6129T-59VS Silver Sparkle Jet it was love at first sight, and once I wrapped my fingers around that wonderful ebony topped V neck I knew she had to be mine ❤️
