"Neon Noir" @theparkinglot.collective @parlayphl I feel incredibly fortunate to have shared such a special time with so many friends, as well as with so many people I had the chance to meet for the first time. Thanks to the support of so many people, our show“Neon Noir,”became something truly special. I would like to once again express my sincere gratitude to everyone who was a part of it. I first met @marble.slinger in 2008 at a glass event in Tokyo called B.A.E. At that time, I had not yet started working under the name @slopglass . Meeting Slinger and Snic at that event had a huge impact on me, and their work and approach inspired me to begin making glass pipes seriously. I truly believe that without meeting them, I would not be where I am today. After all these years, being able to spend time together again and take part in a show together feels incredibly meaningful to me. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to my mentors, Slinger and Snic, for the influence and inspiration they have given me over the years. I am also extremely grateful to @pyroscopic for all of the work and dedication he put into making this show happen. His passion and effort helped make Neon Noir an even more special experience. And to @takaomiyake , who traveled from Japan and joined me for this show. This was my first trip back to the United States in seven years, and I had some anxiety about making the journey. Thanks to his support, I was able to complete the entire trip safely and return home to Japan. Thank you so much. Since developing panic disorder seven years ago, traveling to the United States had become something very difficult for me. But after completing this trip, supported by so many wonderful people along the way, I feel that I have gained a great deal of confidence. I’m already looking forward to the next time I can see everyone again in the United States. To everyone who was part of this trip and "Neon Noir", thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am truly grateful. Thank you so much🙏🏼

🏆 CUP SHOW 🏆 Step 1) make the cups Step 2) throw the show Had a great time throwing the 5th Philly Cup Show during @parlayphl weekend last month, huge thanks to @frontstgallery @starboltphilly @pooch610 @whitebread @kindaglass @yanxartx @captainjones_710 everyone who waited in line for us, and the many hands that made this light work 🌎 We had over 100+ artists from around the globe on display and each one of them also contributed at least one of the clear cups we gave away at the door 🚪 seeing this community on display and in attendance is truly special to me 🙏 hope you got to take home something special and if not we will be ready to do it bigger and better next year 🍺☕️🏆🥤🍶🍨🍵☝️

His work goes worlds beyond just pipes with his large scale sculptures he’s the best role model for a young Glassblower! I can’t wait to get back up to Colorado and throw down again with him!!! 💣💥”Big Trouble With lil Henry”!💥💣 Thank you so much everyone for coming to my first glass showcase with collaborative work with all my friends and mentors!!! Pipe making is everything to me I owe everyone who came out so much for helping me fulfill my dream and persue my passion!! I love this scene so so much it’s given me a home, a career, amazing friends and mentors, and given me more opportunities and experiences then I could have imagined for just 3 years out of high school!
