Proud Dad moment. Fuel Performance Academy’s own Parker (my 11 yo who just learned how to play baseball last August) has been working crazy hard all summer.

Started the summer throwing 54-56 for strikes as an 11 year old and today threw a 25 pitch bullpen with his last 11 fastballs were 60-61 and all but one were strikes. Will turn 12 in December.

Last two pitches are his changeup at 51-53. Same changeup I threw in the major leagues.. I had to try!

Super happy for him. He’s excited to take on bigger challenges this fall

And just like that, 2026 @fw_youth_baseball is over. Can’t believe that Both boys made all stars this year.

Barrett was a back to back all star, playing up this year in 8u, and went 5-5 in both AS games and is starting to drive the ball and picking balls out of the dirt at first!

Parker started the all star game on the mound and hit clean up in his very first season of baseball, EVER. he had his ups and downs all year but was wildly rewarded for his incredible growth this year. And in his last at bat, finished with the furthest in game hit by anyone all season. Short hopped the CF fence!!

Crazy wild experience all spring. Both boys have a lot to learn about baseball, naturally, but it was so cool to be a part of it with them.

FPAs own @pz30hoops with his most dominant outing of his super young baseball career. Couldn’t be any happier for my 11 year old. Has been working and improving his craft and it’s starting to pay off. Walked the first batter of the game on 4 pitches, then settled in and trusted himself. Struck out 8 batters in a row in the middle of the game! And even better, they won their first Game!

So proud of you, my son!

This is literally the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s been 5 years since he’s played baseball (he’s 10 now), and 2 months ago he said “daddy, I want to play baseball…”

Whether he does well or not, I don’t care. He’s so amazing. He still plays basketball 10 days a week, and wants so bad to try and play baseball because it was my sport. So of course I signed him up and he’s giving it his all. So proud of him. ((not bad for a kid who literally stepped on a mound for the first time ever 2 weeks ago))
