Quarterbacks, if you don’t have these 4 traits you MUST develop them before you have to hang up the cleats!

QBPI Client Spotlight | Tim West
Landmark Christian School (GA) | Class of ‘31

Tim has recently started his journey in QB Development but there has not been someone who is more committed to the process of getting better than Tim. He always comes to each session with questions about his development, works hard with intentionality and desires to be great! All the things we look for in great quarterbacks! With great size and arm strength for his age, we are working on cleaning up his mechanics and firming up his frontside so he can be more accurate and consistent as we progress functional strength as well. We are already seeing game time performance gains as well! We are proud of you Tim! It’s just getting started!

QBPI Spotlight | Week 3
Victor Villarreal | Marine Creek MS (TX)

Years of work. Countless details. One dream.

Victor embodies the attention to detail, desire, and work ethic it takes to keep chasing your potential. From sporadic in-person training over the past two years to consistent remote development and consulting, we’re proud to be a part of his journey.

And Week 3 brought his first perfect passer rating of the season! 🎯

Extremely proud of you, Victor! We’re excited to keep building, dominating, and elevating - not just this season, but all the way into high school and beyond.

The dream starts now. The work never stops. 🏈

QBPI Spotlight | Haziel Perez
Milton High School (GA) | Class of 2027

7 months of work. A new country. A new school. An earned opportunity.

From Sweden to Milton, Haziel has attacked every step of the process - refining his mechanics, building functional strength, competing on the showcase circuit, and earning his opportunity on Friday nights.

Still plenty of work ahead, but the attention to detail, football IQ, and competitive mindset are the traits that separate players who simply play from those who are built for Saturdays, and ultimately Sundays.

Proud of you, Haziel. Keep working. The standard only gets higher. 🏈

Your quarterback’s shoulder is more than a throwing arm. 🏈

Quarterbacks perform thousands of high-speed throwing movements over the course of their careers.

That means we shouldn’t only ask:

“How do we make you throw better?”

We should also ask:

“Is your body prepared to keep doing it?”

At QBPI, our Athlete Evaluation and STAT Testing process looks beyond the throw.

We assess areas including:

• Shoulder posture
• Scapular positioning and movement
• Tissue quality
• Recovery and health markers
• Other factors that may warrant attention, modification, or referral

The goal isn’t to diagnose an injury or replace a medical professional.

The goal is to identify what deserves attention before we blindly prescribe more training.

Because quarterback development isn’t just about performance today.

It’s about building a quarterback who can perform, recover, and stay available.

Part 2: What are we actually looking for during a QBPI STAT Test—and how can those findings influence your training?

Showing up for quarterbacks, on and off the field.

The pursuit of my own professional playing career keeps life busy, and I’m hopeful to have more opportunities to compete. BUT my greatest priority has always been, and will continue to be, impacting the next generation of quarterbacks.

Over the past six years, I’ve dedicated myself to learning, developing, and mastering the teachings of Tom House as a Certified Tom House Sports Coach, while also learning from and working alongside many. Every experience, lesson, and piece of knowledge I’ve gained comes with a huge responsibility - to give these athletes everything I have, while continuing to learn in order to help these guys even more.

That responsibility is what led me to create A11 Performance, and it’s now evolving into the @qbperformanceinstitute.

Same program. Same mission. Same commitment to quarterback development. Same mission to carry on Tom’s legacy. New name.

QBPI is built to develop the total quarterback, not just the arm. From biomechanics and physical development to nutrition, recovery, mental and emotional management, football IQ, strategy, and game-specific training, the goal is to help quarterbacks become better athletes, better players, and better leaders.

I’m incredibly fortunate and blessed to have the opportunity to pour into so many quarterbacks each week. The athletes in the next few photos are just a small representation of the guys I have the privilege of working with.

To every QB who trusts me with their development… thank you. The responsibility is not lost on me.

If you’re ready to take your quarterback development to the next level, DM me and let’s start your QBPI journey.
