Thank you to everyone that came out for the Murals and Margaritas event! It was a fun few days being able to curate something like this on Roosevelt Row for the first time.

It was a ton of work to put all of this together over the last couple of months, but it was absolutely worth it. The reception was incredible and the artists did their thing. @dadsocks, @qlmdesigns, @alisia.malta and @sabree.art crushed it.

Looking forward to expanding this event and being able to have more artists out soon 👨🏽‍🎨

Thank you to @gemraymedia and @goldenmargaritaaz for providing a space for artists to showcase their work, connect with the community, and catch a @suns W.

& a special thanks to my dad for helping me with the construction and to the homies @fiddybinski and @coltongordon_ for helping me transport these big ass panels 🙏🏽😂 couldn’t have done it without y’all.

Make sure to stop by the @tempepubliclibrary and see these fantastic artworks! They are on display for one more week before the Fall shows will be installed.

The @selfhelp.library by @safwtf is at the Connections Café and you can still go by to submit your titles and make your own zine. Upstairs the nine artists who painted the utility boxes downtown are showing their studio work, and don’t forget to pick up a library card with one of their designs!

Stay tuned for updates, we are excited to share what’s coming next!

Happy Inspire Your Heart with Art Day 🎨💜

One of our talented Painted Desert stage artists, Mario Garcia painted this beautiful mural of his sister Samantha, who passed shortly before the start of the 2023 Fair. Distraught by her loss, he struggled to find creative inspiration, but painted this image to honor her memory. She loved the Fair. The mural mirrors a picture of Samantha that was taken a few years ago in front of the La Grande XL Ferris Wheel.

When asked what he hopes people receive when viewing the mural he said, “I just hope that they see the smile and find themselves smiling when they see it.”

Samantha is forever remembered in the vibrant sprit of the Fair. Visit the link in our bio and hit 'BLOG' to read more on this touching story. 🎡🤍

Watching these artists work was a privilege. Each with they’re own unique style. Each with they’re own passion.
