REAL PROBLEMS, PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS CHAMPIONED BY LEADHERs OF TODAY?

Leadership is not just about wearing a badge as a prefect. It is about identifying problems, taking initiative, and creating solutions that make a difference.

At the second edition of Vision 2035 AI-ATHON: Inter-School Digital LeadHERship Workshop and Speech Contest, female prefects from over 18 secondary schools across Nigeria came together to identify challenges in their communities and propose projects to address them.

Among the participants were the winners of extemporaneous speech contest, 1st place winner representative from Jigawa State Education Board, with a winning price of N250,000, 2nd place Winner; GSS Pyakasa with a winning prize of N150,000 and 3rd place winner, GSS Kuchingoro with a winning prize of N100,00. Prizes sponsored by the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies.

Special appreciation to the Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman for his examplary leadership, immense support and passion for inclusion.

Beyond speeches and competitions, these young leaders were challenged to think critically about the problems around them and explore practical ways to solve them.

Because the goal is bigger than raising confident speakers. We are raising a generation of girls who can identify problems, develop solutions, and lead change in their schools and communities.

At The Young Communicators Initiative (TYCI), we believe that when girls are equipped with the right communication, leadership, and digital skills, they can become powerful agents of national development.

The question is: What community project are YOU championing as leaders in your organization, nation and family?

A powerful session that struck deep and spoke truth.

Ms. Nana Fatima Bello, @nans.bello , a lawyer, leadership and social impact professional, took us on a journey into the reality of imposter syndrome and how it silently holds many women back from stepping fully into their purpose.

With her wealth of experience as the Chief Programs and Impact Officer at She Rises Global Ltd., she reminded us that self doubt does not define us, and that growth begins the moment we choose to show up boldly, even when we feel unready.

Her session was a call to rise above fear, own our voice, and lead with confidence and clarity.

You are not made to rise alone.

In this session, you’ll learn how to recognize imposter syndrome, understand its impact, build confidence, and begin showing up fully as the woman you’re becoming.

You were not made to shrink.
You were not made to doubt your worth.
