You guessed it right! It’s @juicyjuicevevo, @babenshin, @prostatelatte and @qowomo! figure8out WE ARE IN-BETWEEN (A GROUP CHAT) & (AN ART COLLECTIVE) Showcase: figure8out_ver35 figure8out brings 4 friends in between together. Some of us are rediscovering day one’s calling, some are on the cusp of a new language. We meet at the intersection of this loop that includes all the versions we figured out, still figuring out, and have yet to figure, to record and share the journeys of our practice traversed with you. Halle maximises texture with different elements like beads, metals, clay and more to create sculptures, prints and jewellery. JJ channels his ever-changing curiosities (from ancient relics, cryptids to ethereal beauty) into otherworldly visions brought to life through digital sculptures. nel is currently trying to make magic from their bedroom - they pray to their computer and occasionally it conjures music and 3d prints. Qowomo said 5 arcs ago she came from stick-and-poke. Making all them strokes, based and bespoke, on gentle folks, wow, good feelings evoked. No mark made ever goes up in smoke, it’s all recorded, collected, roaming all around the globe. Now, she lets the mark itself echo on objects in between the origin and the overflow. Made by Jeralyn [ @qowomo ] { ;;Follow us [@irezumi.inc] to never miss a tattoo feature! Based in Singapore, Jeralyn approaches the needle through a poetic and dynamic exploration of line work and movement. This vibrant neck piece began as a raw, calligraphic experiment on paper before being transitioned into a flash design. The bright red composition sits snugly between the client’s black and grey tattoos. Capitalizing on the placement, Jeralyn deliberately connected the loops of her calligraphic strokes with the natural curves of the pre-existing ink, transforming the final form into a calligraphic infinity caught mid-gesture. The piece carries a distinct, kinetic energy inspired by the concept of an infinity knot. Rendered in a bold red stroke, the design mimics a butterfly flying out into the world in all four directions before looping back to its origin, acting like a restless red antenna that returns to its center to share what it has discovered. Captured perfectly on the skin, this imagery serves as a powerful metaphor for exploration and return. This project beautifully reflects Jeralyn’s personal artistic philosophy, which centers on the contrast between raw impulse and methodical execution. Her process begins with a quick, pure line on paper, which is then carefully and slowly replicated through the disciplined precision of the tattoo needle. For Jeralyn, tattooing is a way to treat small, fleeting actions with deep reverence, allowing the velocity of her hand-drawn marks to guide her understanding. Viewing her art as a continuous fountain of fast and slow, inward and outward movements, she considers it a blessing to maintain this creative flow and share its unique energy with the world. }
