last week, @trashyanniemusic asked me to help staff her Idol Hunt + VIP Dinner + Survivor Rocks + Survivor 51 premiere watch party which she hosted in collaboration with @briceandwenpresent, and I was absolutely BEYOND thrilled to help out! it's absolutely a badge of honor to me that I get to tell people what a cool fucking event this was, AND that I got to be part of the magic behind the scenes helping make it happen!!

being such a big Survivor fan, it's so frickin fun and cool to have a chance to spend time in person with some of the people I've been watching on TV! since I decided to dive more into the Survivor fan community, it's opened up such a huge world of cool experiences and cool people, and I'm gonna keep exploring 💖

as you scroll through the photos from the second day (slide 7 on), watch and you can see how I just became more and more disheveled as the night went on 💀

I used to think Survivor was something I watched. This year, it became something I lived…. in airports, at events, through conversations with players, and finally inside an online game where I trusted too quickly, shared too much, and celebrated immunity like I had won the actual million dollars 😂🔥

Tonight, as Survivor 51 begins, I’m watching with a new appreciation for the people, the resilience, and the strangers who become a tribe.

Maybe one day, this journey will take me from the aisle to the island. Until then, I’m still dreaming and always in transit. ✈️🏝️

Who are you rooting for this season?

🚨 Can police search your phone after you’re arrested in Texas?

Not automatically.

https://youtu.be/R-GiS7IVIww
Your phone is not just another item in your pocket. It may contain your texts, photos, emails, banking apps, location history, search history, social media accounts, and private conversations.

In many situations, police generally need a warrant before searching the contents of your phone.

But here’s where people get themselves in trouble…

An officer asks:

“Mind if I take a quick look?”

And people say:

“Sure, I’ve got nothing to hide.”

That may make the officer’s job a whole lot easier.

Stay calm. Stay respectful. Do not argue or physically resist.

But you can clearly say:

“I do not consent to a search of my phone. I would like to speak with an attorney.”

Your phone knows more about you than your best friend does. Don’t let it become the prosecution’s star witness.

Watch the latest Wadhawan Weekly Update to learn what Texans need to know about phone searches after an arrest.

If you or a loved one has been arrested or is under investigation in Harris County, Fort Bend County, or the Houston area, call Wadhawan Law Firm at 713-777-5891.

At Wadhawan Law Firm, we’ve got your back.

Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Every case is different.

the amount of Nothing that appears to be happening on my Instagram feed ABSOLUTELY is not representative of how much I've been getting up to lately 🤣

I've wound up getting myself deep into Survivor fandom and I've been going to SO many cool events, meeting incredible people, and making amazing new friends!!

it's wild how consistently kind and friendly Survivor players are! I've had the privilege of meeting people I admire and find inspiration in, and that's worth soooo much!

I can't shout out everyone (please don't assume it means I don't love you!!), but there's a few specific people I have some things to say about:

@xidols hasn't been on the show (yet!) but she's still cooler than the rest of em COMBINED! she's become a really great and close friend since we met at the Survivor 50 challenge. she's such a genuine and kind person and our friendship has been healing in ways I didn't know I needed. so thank you, caleb 🫶

@trashyanniemusic is somebody I've had the privilege of getting to meet many times, and even develop more of a personal relationship with, and!! you are SUCH a cool person Annie!! and the exact kind of person I want more of in my life; because I truly treasure folks like you, who take life by the horns and achieve great things and do it all with a positive attitude, because it inspires me to demand more from my own life too 💖

@rick_devens was already one of my absolute favorite Survivor players ever just after his original season, and my love for this man has only grown since Survivor 50 aired. it's fun to watch his silly antics, but I actually find something quite profound in it, too: Rick Devens reminds me that sometimes, joy and happiness are things we can choose for ourselves, not things we wait for life to bestow upon us. even 6 months later it makes me very happy to know I actually got to (very briefly) meet him in person, and he's been very kind in online interactions too! and now that he's found his way into the Big Brother house, I'm rooting SO hard for him to take home the prize 😆

this post barely scratches the surface of everything I've gotten up to over the past year! I'm sure y'all will be hearing from me again soon 💙
