WE MADE A MOVIE! Moments from the premiere of @papermademovie and I’m not sure I can fully express how full I am from this experience. We spent a month earlier this year shooting an action film and every single moment from production to premiere means everything to me. I’m so inspired by the people I had the pleasure to work with. Their creativity, their work ethic, their expertise. Watching everyone react to the work, and seeing my first movie credits roll up that screen was surreal. I’m learning so much in this space and I cannot wait to do this over and over again.

Let the Process play out🎥

Paper Line ⏭️ Paper Made

I’m still speechless from Friday night. Everybody sees the art but very few people know the journey. Nobody ever sees the sweat equity it takes to accomplish the goals you set out for. I have learned so much through this process just by being a fly on the wall and putting my ego to the side.

My favorite part of Friday night was hearing the interactions from the audience! It was amazing to see some of the day one Paper Line cast and the new Paper Made cast get their just due. I’m happy that I had a chance to get to know everybody over the years. And I’m extremely excited that they get a chance to be action stars/superheroes to the next generation to come!

PAPERMADE is about a young man that is working on finding purpose for himself instead of what others see for him. It hits different when art can reflect reality. The biggest takeaway is to stay true to self, and embrace the true supporters oppose to the people who are there due to FOMO.

I’m overly excited for everybody to see this movie! Who would’ve thought a C- on my final EFP documentary could turn into an Associate Producer and Unit B director credit for my first feature film 6 years later. Also, having a song that I produced and rapped on for the soundtrack. And the song was playing during the end credits for the movie?! That’s literally what you would call “Chef’s Kiss”👨🏾‍🍳. #PaperMade #PaperMadeMovie #PaperLine #IndependentFilm #BlackCinema #BlackFilmmakers #FeatureFilm #Filmmaking #FilmProducer #UnitBDirector #AssociateProducer #TrustTheProcess #StayTrueToSelf #FromDreamToReality #SupportIndependentFilm

This isn’t just a collage.

It’s proof.

Proof that the vision survived the doubt.
Proof that the dream made it past the obstacles.
Proof that every frame carries the energy, sacrifice, and spirit of the people who brought it to life.

These moments are more than memories. They’re evidence that we showed up, stood together, and created something nobody could take from us.

We didn’t wait for permission.
We didn’t wait for perfect conditions.
We made the moment ours.

And this is only one chapter.

The story is still being written.
The vision is still expanding.
The best is still ahead.

This is what belief looks like when it becomes real.

This is what happens when we refuse to be counted out.

This is our work.
Our legacy.
Our moment.

And we’re only getting started.

1,2,3 PAPERMADE!!!
4,5,6 FOR US!!!
