📊 MARAUDER MONDAY ⚓️

This week’s Marauder Monday spotlight is Mr. George Buerman, a Finance major with a Spanish minor from Shawano, Wisconsin!

Mr. Buerman currently serves as the S-2 1st Platoon Sergeant while also serving as an NROTC Division Chief and an Aggie Valor Leader.

Fun Fact: He can juggle, solve a Rubik’s Cube, and he is a HUGE Chicago Bears fan!

After graduation, Mr. Buerman intends to commission into the submarine force or the Surface Fleet. After his time in the Navy, he plans to pursue a career in financial consulting.

If you see Mr. Buerman around the Quad, give him a Howdy!

Happy Staff Sunday!!

This week, we’re introducing James Horse, the first regiment inspector general officer and the adjutant/discipline officer. Cadet Horse is from Imperial Beach, California, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. After college, he plans to commission as a Submarine Officer in the Navy.
Off the Quad, Cadet Horse is involved in @singingcadets.
Cadet Horse joined the Corps because he wanted an ROTC experience with a disciplined lifestyle and the opportunity to lead. His favorite memory has been doing half of March to the Brazos on crutches his Sophomore year.
His advice to the fish is to “don’t make your whole identity the Corps. One of the best things about Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets, compared to other Senior military colleges, is that you can interact with organizations and groups of people who aren’t involved with the Corps. Find a group that helps you with your professional career and find a group that feeds your soul.”

The Wolfpack and fish put selfless service into action at Messiah’s Ranch, giving back to the community and embodying the Aggie Spirit beyond the Quad. Through sorting lumber, preparing building materials, and clearing brush, our cadets demonstrated the value of hard work, teamwork, and service to others.

Our next sophomore Sunday will be highlighting Ms Miller! She is from Grimes Iowa, majoring in General Engineering. She was previously on the Corps women’s basketball team and off the quad she was also on the University women’s basketball team.

🐅 Her reason for hoping squadron six is because it seemed like a well rounded outfit and she liked the community service aspect.
💭Her favorite buddy memory is fall semester dead week.
🎓After graduation she wants to work at an engineering consulting firm and complete a 70.3 Ironman.
