Top Florida Fish 🍽️🔥 Any changes? 👇
We researched restaurants, fish markets, polls, and conducted our own polls with a couple of fisherman in a very non-scientific “easy” form so as not to have them anglers feel judged.
Some quotes:
“Swordfish is the pumpkin of the ocean and tis the season and they’re just that good”
“Golden tilefish taste just like lobster.
A++”
“Bluefish is criminally underrated. Back where I’m from up North they’re a prize.”
“Hogfish is as white as snow and as sweet as cheesecake”
“Tripletail is the filet mignon of the ocean!”
“Largemouth bass are the most delicious freshwater fish. Heck, ask Napoleon Dynamite”

18 FOOT? 🤯 Do you believe it? 👇

In rare deep-sea footage recorded by a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) near an offshore oil platform, observers documented a tuna estimated at nearly 18 feet in length.

For perspective, Atlantic bluefin tuna usually grow 6–8 feet long, with record individuals near 13 feet. That makes this sighting extraordinary—suggesting there may be undocumented giants in the deep.

These ROV inspections, though routine, sometimes reveal the hidden ecosystems around subsea oil rigs. Structures like these act as artificial reefs, drawing schools of fish and the predators that follow them.

Encounters like this highlight how much remains uncharted beneath the waves—over 80% of the ocean is still unexplored. Even with familiar species, we’re still discovering just how massive and mysterious they can become.
