One for the books!
#HypeDirtySouth was a movie fr!
Thank you to everyone who showed love to our set! Sharing the stage with this cast was my favorite part of the experience, a choreographer’s dream, they were up for every challenge, edit, & note I gave over them over the weeks, book them lol!!!
There’s so much talent in Dallas, thank you @hypedallas for providing the space for the dance community to come together.
Until the next one ⭐️ #J0shinU #hypedallas #choreographer #dancer

GabriellesDanceAThon X J3 Movements 🔥INT/ADV HIP HOP

Last Saturday was such a PUSH 😮‍💨🔥 thank you @quanthedancer_ @j3movements_ for always bringing us some heat the last Saturday of every month!!

The purpose of this collab once a month is to give yall a chance to GROW and challenge yourself in a space you already feel comfortable in 🫶🏾

Beginner Hip Hop is one of the most slept on levels of dance but it carries sooo many fundamental skills that you NEED to understand and catch on to INT/ADV choreography. We train those fundamentals every week so eventually you can challenge yourself and LEVEL UP 🔥

I want everyone who comes to GabriellesDanceAThon to actually progress as a dancer and not feel like they have to be titled a beginner dancer forever! Thats what GabriellesDanceAThon X J3 Movements INT/ADV Hip Hop is for 🥳

Dont get comfortable 🩷🔥

A LOOK BACK 🎭✨

One thing I’ve learned about building a show for an artist: you have to learn the artist first.☝🏽

Before you can enhance someone’s vision, you have to understand their aesthetic, their audience, their strengths, and what makes them “them”. 💯The goal isn’t to force your creative vision onto the artist—it’s to elevate what already exists, while creating something tangible enough to introduce them to a new audience.🙂‍↕️

This project was especially meaningful because it was for my dad, Vay Mack LeMore, for his Mr. Gay USofA at Large talent presentation. 🫶🏽🔐But being family didn’t mean I skipped the process. I studied him. We had multiple one-on-one conversations. I asked questions, listened to his vision, followed the brief I was given, and then built from there.✍🏽

And that’s what I believe creative direction should be: collaboration, strategy, intention, and trust.✨

Huge love to the entire cast for their professionalism and for absolutely EATING through this process. Y’all brought the vision to life! 🖤

This is the kind of work I love doing through Gifted Gardens—helping artists cultivate what they already have and turn it into something bigger.🤩✨
