Series 4 | Banksia Project

For our Banksia project, every material choice plays a role in bringing the design together and creating a home that’s built for comfort, performance and longevity.

In this Reel, we take you inside Project Banksia and explore our timber cladding selection and the thinking behind the choices we’ve made.

Natural timbers are hands down our favourite material to work with and we love seeing it used as external cladding. Depending on the final look you are after most Australian hardwoods require constant upkeep especially in harsh coastal environments.
On this particular project we have decided to install @abodowood timber cladding finished in a SiOO:X coating to avoid the upkeep and enjoy the natural timber for the lifetime of the home.

If you’re building a new home or planning a renovation on the South Coast or in the Southern Highlands of NSW and want to talk through your project, get in touch with us.

Series 3 | Banksia Project

What keeps a Passive House comfortable year-round isn’t just what you can see.

For Project Banksia, we’ve carefully considered every element of the build — including the systems working behind the scenes to deliver fresh, filtered air and maintain a comfortable indoor environment.

In this Reel, Tim takes you through the mechanical ventilation system and explains why it’s an important part of creating a high-performance home.

Because when you’re building a Passive House, every detail has a job to do.

Follow along for Series 4 as we take you further inside Project Banksia.

Business is better when you’re not doing it alone.

One of the best parts of BNI Seacliff is being surrounded by business owners who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

It’s not just about referrals. It’s about building relationships, sharing ideas, learning from each other and having a room full of people who understand the highs, lows and chaos that can come with running a business.

Every week, we come together to connect, support one another and help create opportunities for businesses across the Illawarra.

If you’ve been looking for a room full of like-minded business people who are genuinely interested in helping each other grow, come and see what BNI Seacliff is all about.

Reach out to one of our members if you’d like to visit a meeting.

A fun afternoon testing some content ideas with @reidbrowngolf at @pymblegolf club. For me it was all about angles and chasing pockets of lights & shadows. Happy with what we captured and learn’t how I’d improve what we got 🙏🏻 I have some cool videos that will be posted soon also 💪🏻 Last frame is definitely my favourite.

Series 2 | Banksia Project

The windows in a Passive House aren’t just about how they look.

For our Banksia project, we chose Hygge windows because the performance of the windows plays an important role in creating a comfortable, energy-efficient home.

In this Reel, we take you inside the project and explain what made Hygge the right choice for this Passive House, and what to look for when you’re choosing windows for your own build.

Because the right window choice is about more than the frame and glass. It’s about how the home performs and how it feels to live in.

Shoutout to @clydevaughan for putting on a super fun workshop with the new @sonyalpha.anz @sonycine FX5 💪🏻 I’m super grateful to be able to test out such a fun and powerful camera, and it’s safe to say this is too much camera for me and my line of work. It’s events like these that give so much insight into whether or not this is the right purchase. Ended up shooting some stills too, which was super fun!
