“Melatonin and the Optics of the Human Body”

This paper unpacks a lot of critical information that has dramatic implications for our health.

➡️ Last slide for some actionable steps

Follow on X @jonathanjarecki where I will be posting more threads 🧵

*one clarification that came to my attention. Slide three says “> 70% of sunlight’s photons are NIR”

This should say “> 70% of sunlight’s photons that impinges into the body are NIR photons”

Where have I been? You may (or may not) have noticed that I haven’t posted much for a while. Thats because I’ve been traveling and training and transforming a dream into a reality.

That dream was to launch @dropthemicnight - an event that puts aspiring speakers in the spotlight, giving them an opportunity to step on stage and tell their story in front of a live audience!

I teamed up with my business bestie, Jenn Lederer and HAYVN Coworking Community for the inaugural event that took place this past Tuesday, June 18th. We had a sold out crowd of 100 in the house to not only cheer on our speakers, but also celebrate HAYVN’s 5 year anniversary!!!

We selected 10 inspiring speakers from dozens of applications to share their stories and walk away with thousands of dollars worth of prizes. Congrats to all our speakers and winners on delivering mic-drop worthy presentations:

- Rhodie Lorenz (1st place)
- Gina Martin (2nd place)
- Marcia Lee (3rd place)
- Yungie Hahn (Audience Favorite)
- Lindsay Potter
- Kelsey Fox Bennett Boyd
- Oksana Hansen, AQP, CDSP
- Treacy Riiska
- Michelle Garside
- Christine Labate, Growth Marketer

Thank you to our judges for taking the time to join us, support our speakers and provide your invaluable feedback:

- Terri Trespicio
- Bridget Aileen Sicsko
- Eddie Tranzcendent Martinez

And we couldn’t have made the night a success without the support of all our sponsors and partners:

- Rustic Roots
- Mary Carangelo
- Visibility on Purpose
- Terri Trespicio
- Attune Med Spa
- Garden Catering
- The Taco Project
- AKA Spirits Inc | TUCK Gin
- Gratsi
- Athletic Brewing Co.

It was truly touching to watch this dream become a reality and it could not have happened without this community of supporters…it truly does take a village!

This was just the first of many Drop The Mic Nights. Stay tuned! The next event and call for speakers is coming soon.

In the words of the great Buzz Lightyear, “To infinity and beyond!”

It’s more than just wellness on the table, it’s your life’s purpose! We need to be our healthiest selves so we can fulfill what we are called to doing and show up fully in our relationships. To be better business people, better creatives, better partners, better parents, better sons and daughters…

We’re always impressed by this amazing community of people committed to doing good in the world. It’s no coincidence so many change-makers are avid wellness enthusiasts ❤️
