49 years of marriage, and Catheleen is still my best friend. She was my first and only true girlfriend, and I’m grateful we still laugh, hold hands, and enjoy being together. ❤️

We’ve lived through many seasons. Through them all, we’ve given God first place in our lives. His faithfulness has carried us, and His care continues to hold us.

“A threefold cord is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12

Still in God’s hands. 🙌🏽❤️

Vacations are wonderful. I love traveling, slowing down and enjoying moments like this with Catheleen.

But I’ve been thinking about something bigger.

What if we stopped building lives we constantly need to escape from?

I’m not talking about working all the time. Quite the opposite.

I’m talking about building a life with room for the people you love. Room to rest. Room to enjoy what God has given you. And room to do the things you were created to do.

I believe God gives us purpose. Our responsibility is to discover it, develop the capacity to carry it, and faithfully live it out.

Your job may change.
Your career may end.
Your assignments may change with the seasons.

But purpose is bigger than a profession.

So enjoy the vacation. Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy the rest.

But don’t settle for only feeling alive when you’re escaping your everyday life.

Build a life you don’t need to escape from.
And a purpose you don’t want to retire from.

49 years. ❤️ And I’m still fallin’.

Catheleen was my first and only real girlfriend—and after all these years, she’s the one I still choose, the one I cherish, and the only woman I give my affection to.

We’ve shared a lifetime together. We’ve grown up together, raised a family together, served God together, walked through victories and challenges together—and through it all, God has been faithful.

Marriage isn’t simply about finding someone you love. It’s about covenant. Choosing one another again and again, through every season, and allowing God to keep growing the love He began.

49 years later, I can say the journey has been worth it. And somehow, the more time I spend with this lady, the more time I want with her. ❤️

Happy 49th Anniversary, Catheleen. ❤️

Still yours. Still grateful. Still fallin’.

There’s nothing like a little Sabbath rest. 🙏🏾❤️

A leisurely Saturday afternoon in Edenton, NC—slowing down, enjoying the scenery, getting refreshed, and spending time with my best friend, Catheleen. ❤️

After all these years together, I still genuinely enjoy doing life with this lady. Sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones—no agenda, no rush… just time together.

Rest. Refresh. Reconnect. And thank God for the blessing of it all.

The more time I spend with this lady, the more time I want to spend with her. ❤️

After all these years, our love isn’t just lasting—it’s still growing.

And somehow, I find myself loving her more by the day. ❤️

7 years ago we took a leap of faith.

We left the security of a paycheck to pursue a calling.

It hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it.

We’ve celebrated victories, learned through challenges, built lasting relationships, and helped people change their financial futures through real estate.

Most of all, we’re grateful.

Here’s to seven years… and to what God has ahead.
