What a weekend.

Fun tattoos, awesome clients, incredible company. Twin Cities TattooFest is absolutely not to be slept on.

Huge thanks to Philip and Chloe for trusting this stranger with some projects I’m really proud of.

Bringing home some hardware for the Gogeta on my leg by @bdtattz2.0

Being some big tourists in Minneapolis & Chicago with @queen_jrk 💙🫶

And a special thanks to my brother from another, @gasp4k , for adding to my personal collection with a new hand jammer- which insanely is my only Pokémon tattoo 😂 The whole @thirty8caliber crew made the weekend an absolute blast.

Always grateful for the chance to travel, make cool tattoos, and meet great people. Thanks for having me, @twincitiestattoofestival

’Til next time 👊

Jessica asked me to fill this gap on her shin! So I decided to fill it with a dynamic version of the chain connected to the Inverted Spear of Heaven. Super fun 🤩

Back from a great trip to Dayton for the @cyantattoo convention with @tattoosbykennedy @queen_jrk @cramey118 .

Got to work on some really fun projects this weekend. Took 3rd place for Best Style Mashup with the lioness // chrysanthemum piece, did a dark Pokémon // Star Wars mashup, and pushed my black & grey a bit further adding a skull and ravens to a Norse project we started a few months back.

Huge thanks to the clients for the trust — and for hanging in through some long sessions 😂
@jbird9840 @thummel24 & Brian!

On the road home after an incredible week in OKC! 🛣️✨
We explored the city, hit all kinds of cool museums and interactive activities with Seb, and he loved getting to hang out with his Aunt Court 😄

Capped off the week by absolutely killing it at the Oklahoma City Tattoo Festival — always a blast meeting and hanging with so many insanely talented artists.

Huge thanks to my amazing clients who trusted me enough to book in advance and plan some killer tattoos to compete with! 🙌
🥇 1st place — Medium Black & Grey (Friday)
🥈 2nd place — Small Color (Saturday)
Plus some strong placements in other categories going up against absolute killers!

And of course, shoutout to Mad Rabbit for always having my back — their wash, glide, gel, and the EZP3 Pro made for a winning combo all weekend 💪🐰

Excited to be back in my own booth for a bit… before we pack it up for Anime Ink Richmond in just over a month!

It’s been an amazing couple days relaxing (a little) and celebrating (a lot) with @queen_jrk 😍🥰 12 beautiful years of marriage and coming up on the point of “I’ve lived with you longer than I haven’t” and many, many more to go 😈😈😈. Made it to 35 and found out my old man body can’t hang in the pit like it used to, but @bilmuriband was fuckin awesome live! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and of course, shoutout to the shopmates for blessing me with something - cookie cake-wise 😂 that was pretty rad 🙏🏻I have a couple tattoos to do this morning then immediately packing the rest of my stuff and hitting the road for the @oklahomacitytattoofestival , so we’ll be back to your regularly scheduled tattoo programming soon 😬🙏🏻🐰❤️‍🔥

Getting a tattoo of your favorite animal? 10/10 decision.
Getting a tattoo of your pet? Even better. Immortalize that little goblin forever.
Also… someone let me tattoo a red panda already. I’m begging 🥺🖤

4 years! Where does the time go
I have this tendency to get in my own head about how far I think I should be. I spent just about 10 years as a body piercer, and even though it has nothing to do with tattooing, brain still says shit like “you’ve been in this industry forever! You should be better”

But when I actually reflect on the time I’ve spent tattooing, and give myself the chance to know it’s ONLY been 4 years, it makes me excited and proud to see what I’ll accomplish with another 4.

I’ve got some hefty goals and some big life changes coming for year 5. With my amazing wife’s limitless support, our son on the way, a convention schedule taking shape, and continued support of the awesome people at @madrabbit , year 5 is shaping up to be the biggest one yet 😈😈😈😈
