BIG ROD OUTSIDE THE PLAYBOOK | EP. 3 Women’s Discus 🏃🏾‍♀️💪🏾

Who would’ve thought a 300+ lb offensive lineman would be learning women’s discus? 😂 This challenge was all about technique, timing, and power, and it gave me a whole new respect for the athletes who compete in it.

It’s giving growth, laughter & chaos. 🤍✨ Junior year was perfectly imperfect— forever trusting, working hard, and staying grateful.

“Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you.” Psalm 37:5

Go Gators & cheers to junior year! 🐊💙

🔵Senior Appreciation🟠
Akari Isaac came to UF as the original signing class in 2022. As a rising talent in the state of Florida, we are lucky she became a Gator!

Akari went to battle every year for the Gators.
She was a two time SEC finalist in the discus, a National Qualifier and left her stamp as no. 4 All time in UF History! She was part of discus quartet that made SEC history in 2024 and part of UF’s Triple Crown in 2026!

Akari has left her mark beyond the athletic scene as she was the leader of BSAAC and other student-athlete organizations!

Thank you for all that you have done for our team Akari! 🌻

GO GATORS! 🐊 👏
