IBITOLA’S SHOW OFF ✨❤️ | THE STORY OF ASO-OKE

Growing up, many of us saw traditional fabrics as something our mothers wore for weddings, family celebrations and special occasions. We admired the beauty, but perhaps we didn’t fully understand the story behind them.

Aṣọ-òkè is more than fabric. It is a connection to our roots, a reminder of our heritage, and a beautiful piece of our identity. It carries the memories of generations before us, yet it continues to find its way into the wardrobes of modern women who want to look stylish without losing touch with their culture.

And this is why I love seeing our traditional fabrics reimagined in ways that make us say, “Ah! So this is what our culture can look like!” 😍
