It gives me the greatest honor to share the latest chapter in the Big Apple story for 2027. We’re starting now because we can’t wait. Big Apple will now be known as *Social Impact*, a name that speaks to the influence that came before influencers and to the artists he inspired across Toronto, Atlanta, New York, and LA. Listen to App’s message at the end of this clip. He was so ahead, his words are still relevant right now. Salute to you, App and to the Massiah family. The legacy continues. #imnotarapperfilms #weareindependentthinkers #socialimpact #byHozeaMassiah

I had already started my record label when I met Big Apple back in the early 2000s. Since then, I’ve seen life’s highs and lows across business, tech, and music, the worlds I’ve always lived in. It’s not all smoke & mirrors. This life can get very real, very quickly. Good thing App taught me how to maneuver through the U.S. & connected me to some of the best people I know to this day. Rest in power, App. Thank you for your wisdom and endless jokes! Even when you’re gone, you’re still here. Can’t believe it’s already been a year. Your spirit still moves through all of us. I know you’re somewhere laughing at all the clones out here trying to be like Ü. We’re laughing too. Family first. Love and respect till the end. 🙏🏽🕊️🍎 Long Live Hozea ‘Big Apple’ Massiah #weareindependentthinkers #dorightügainsuccess

🕊️🕊️🕊️ It’s been one year since you left us in the physical but what you did while you were here is the most impactful movement I have ever seen in my life. Thank you for always showing me the ropes, thank you for always calling and texting me every time you changed your phone number (lol, if you knew Big Apple 2005-2015 times, then you know every couple of months he always had a new phone number because he was always moving from city to city) but he always would FaceTime me or back in the day Chirp me. And update me with his new location and phone number and we forever stayed in contact. He always called me his little brother, he always repped me and Kamakacci as if it was his own brand. Hee brought me in the back office of his store when I was 19, sat me down and taught me about how to make a profit from the Toronto nightlife scene. He explained to me business, Hee explained to me how to grow Kamakacci, he always reminded me that THE WHOLE WORLD WAS DESIGNED FOR ÜS. We shared so many FaceTime conversations, I would always ask him if I could just record him while he talk to me or shared stories with me and he always told me to just soak in the Knowledge. I was such a huge fan of him, I also reminded him of that every time I seen him. He was very humble and very thankful. He always thanked me for keeping his name and his brand ⭐️ I’m Not A Rapper ⭐️ when we would meet up at his store on Queen St., West (2012/2013) even in the later years 2017/2018 he always thanked me for representing his name. Everywhere I went. So shout out and salute to you and the entire family, Big Apple you will always and truly be missed. I’m not a rapper is forever. Do right Ü gain success is forever. LONG LIVE @mrhozeamassiah 🕊️💙🕊️💙🕊️💙

It was an honor to serve you drügs alongside the late, great creative genius Hozea ‘Big Apple’ Massiah. A true visionary who moved with purpose, style, and soul — always ahead of his time, always moving 3 steps ahead. This shirt says it all: I’m already there. It’s more than a phrase — it’s a mindset App lived by. A reminder that presence is power, creativity is currency, and legacy doesn’t wait for permission. To keep his spirit alive, you can expect to see and hear more from the official Hozea Massiah collection — stories, designs and moments that carry his energy forward. This is for the culture, for the creatives and for everyone walking their path with intention. 🕊️✨🙏🏽 🍎 #HozeaMassiah #BigAppleEnergy #ImAlreadyThere #LegacyInMotion #CreativeCulture
