Madeira 2026 - part 1
A gorgeous holiday. We arrived and headed straight out to watch fireworks. A spectacular start to a brilliant holiday.

Revisiting fabric origami in costume making, applying traditional origami paper folding techniques to textiles for a costume I’m developing with the brilliant wardrobe team @perththeatreandconcerthall
Costumes have to be robust to survive performance and handle being packed and toured, so we’ve been experimenting with materials and methods to make origami wearable and performance-proof.

Sintra 29/6/25
Such a stunning place. It was 40 degrees so was a great place to escape the city for the day.
We walked a lot 😂 It was stunning- the architecture in the area is mad- so many palaces in such a small place.
Found an amazing restaurant with great drinks, food & a fabulous view to end the day.

november - a blur of late nights, red wine, and watching hard work. i made mac and cheese for the first time properly and did a lot of dog walks in the dark. hit the big thirteen. november is weird and penultimate.

do you remember the twenty billion days of september? or do they all fade into the sunlight, fade like drying raindrops, fade like the day into the night and into the day again (and again and again). fade like present into memories. fade like the last of the summer sun into the autumn wash. i really loved it all.

A fabulous long weekend in Newcastle. Fun & sparkles at the Strictly Live Tour, lots of laughs and a lot of drinking 😂
Weekends like this are good for the soul (but might take my body a while to recover 😂).
