Absolutely beautiful weekend celebrating @riley_marcus with a few of her favorite things: awesome babes, boats, burgers, and beaches. Plus a little bit of: 🦦 🫍 🌞 ✨

Riding BEDFRAME♦️♦️ in a DOWNPOUR 🌧️

The skies opened up on us but @queenofthemnt said Nelson slabs go no matter what 😮‍💨

Derailleur took a beating but otherwise kept rubber side down 🤘

An absolutely EPIC time at NAEC 🏔️

I haven’t had much of a background in racing - this was my first enduro race with a proper practice day. Prior I had only raced Pemberton blind and Hot Laps in Port Gamble.

This race for me was more about setting a goal to push my bike fitness and skills as much as I could before race day to best prepare for the 50+ minutes and near 14,000 feet of timed downhill.

Over 7 stages and two days we saw sunshine, hero dirt, snow, rain and mud - classic NAEC. I came out of it majorly crash-free in p17 which I am STOKED on.

There is no way I could have kept it together without my support system @queenofthemnt pushing me to go ride and encouraging me to do my best and helping me prepare ❤️ she’s absolutely the reason I did so well.

With so much descending, some weak points in the bike skills definitely surfaced. Looking forward to working with @flowcraftmtb in the next few weeks to improve those skills!

Can’t wait for next year @northamericanendurocup 🤘

We could not do it without this amazing team of coaches that we have had the pleasure of working with over the past few seasons. The depth of knowledge that each one of them brings to the table with their skiing experience is what sets them apart. They have lifetimes lived skiing around the world, competing, exploring and developing skills that they share with the skiers who come to Rippin Chix camps. Thank you so much for being such queens of stoke, in all conditions…can’t wait to shred with you all again soon!

Thank you to the Galbi Getaway for loaning your sweet pad as the base camp for the mountain bike leg of the Shifting Gears Wild Women Week! And thanks to the crew from Evil who brought all the demo bikes up, got the riders dialed, and cooked some yummy baked potato’s afterwards!

Want to learn more about @letsshiftgears and the fantastic programs such as Wild Women Week, give them a follow.

And for sure check out @galbygetaway before your next Bellingham, WA riding trip. This house is dialed in for Mountain Bike Vacations.
