From Baltimore to Virginia State University, a first generation young Black woman with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science… God did ✅

Through homesickness, separation, and even spinal surgery, God still carried me to this finish line. He allowed me to see accomplishments, mentors, sisterhood, and beauty within my brokenness.❤️

Lessons aren’t meant to be easy, they’re meant to stretch you into rooms your old self could never enter.

Thank you to my family for pushing me to be the first. The weight was heavy at times, but now the weight has been lifted and the purpose behind it all is finally clear.

Little Niyah wanted to be a model… safe to say I did that, and then I dreamed even further.🤏🏾

👑👑👑
To my Miss Pennsylvania HBCU Teen family, thank you for my first pageant experience and first set of sister queens. Thank you Mr. Darrell for never allowing me to stay in the shadows. @misshbcuteen

To my Miss Freshman 2022–2023 family, thank you for making my first HBCU experience unforgettable and for always leading with love, mentorship, and excellence.

To the Tri-Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., thank you for the opportunity to serve as Miss Royal Blue and to everyone who showed me what it truly means to treat a queen.

For every girl who ever wanted to give up, keep going. This is only the beginning ✨ #firstgen

This past week, I had the incredible honor of serving as a judge for the Miss Tri Alpha Pageant, hosted by the Alpha Alpha Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. As a three-time pageant queen, my appreciation, insight, and love for the world of pageantry have only deepened over time. It was truly inspiring to witness the passion, poise, and purpose each contestant brought to the stage. Thank you for allowing me to play a small role in such a meaningful moment pouring into and uplifting the next generation of queens was a blessing I’ll never take for granted.💙👑

“Those who are not courageous enough to take risk, will never succeed in life.”

Thank you, Trend Setting Tri Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., for giving me the opportunity to hold the title of Miss Royal Blue. This title has not only shaped me, but also allowed me to uplift others while standing firmly in grace and strength. As my reign comes to an end, I reflect with gratitude on the memories made, the bonds built, and the growth I’ve experienced.
