United Nations of Black & Afro

From the soles of our feet, we bless the ground beneath us,
Even lands that once tried to forget our names.
Black in origin,
Brown in the many ways the sun remembers us.
Our skin telling stories before our mouths ever speak.

Cuba dances in our blood,
Haiti stands firm in the spirit of freedom,
Jamaica sways with wisdom, rhythm, and truth.
Nigeria remembers us whole,
Before borders, before breaking.
The Congo beats through our chest,
A drum that never stopped calling.

African American,
Born of fragments and fire,
Turning stolen breath into song,
Pain into purpose,
Survival into legacy.

Different flags wave above us,
But the roots tangle beneath the soil.
Oceans tried to separate us,
Yet ancestry made us kin.
Distant sisters, facing different struggles in different places,
Yet carrying the same strength in our bones.

We are the United Nations of Black & Afro.
Not divided by distance,
Not defined by loss,
But united by memory, resilience,
And the sacred knowing that we are still becoming.
