Ausstellungsansichten 𝘌𝘹𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴

On Chewing Shoelaces: Art, Mess and Radical Kinship

Kuratiert von 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 HOOD for Artist Parents

17.09. —
24.10.2026

We'r’ proud to open our first exhibition of 2026 with Liesel Burisch and the large-scale façade projection "Now You Know”
at Wilders Plads, Christianshavn.
The work – originally a music video for German noisepunk band Dwarphs – documents a daily gymnastics routine at 7:15 am in an Icelandic swimming pool. The performers execute the routine in parallel with the Copenhagen screening, transforming lived reality into new visual narratives through humour, care and queer community.

Waiting just got a little softer — explore SWAY by Liesel Burisch in the waiting area at Aalborg Midwifery Centre 💫

SWAY is part of “Society of Molecules” which aims to expand the space between art, health, and everyday life—inviting the healthcare system to reflect on its own practices in dialogue with citizens.

The exhibition Society of Molecules is generously funded by the Danish Arts Council, Augustinus Fonden, and Aalborg Municipality.
