A big thank you to @thetinycupboard for hosting us at their Board Game Bar! The vibes were immaculate, and the drinks were delicious 🍹✨

📚 Don’t miss our next Queer Book Club meetup on Sunday, November 8, from 3–5pm. We’ll be discussing This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel. Comment “I’m in!” For meetup details. ☺️

Are you craving opportunities for making friends, meeting new people, & building community? Looking for friends or romance but tired of the apps and feeling too old for the clubs?

Swipe to read each caption

Us too! That’s why we’re building this space that caters to more mature queer folks in South Brooklyn - all generations are welcome (we love inter generational friendships) but we are catering to middle-aged and older people, since we perceive a lack of social spaces geared towards us.

@thebobbedbandit will host our game hour on Sunday from 4-6 PM. We’ll have Ransom Notes, Rummikub, Scrabble, Connect Four, playing cards and more. Feel free to bring your favorite game too.

Drinks (including non alcoholic beverages) will be available for purchase in the first hour. And the kitchen will open to serve food at 5 PM.

Future events might include coffee hour, day dancing, book club, speed dating, or exploring Brooklyn’s parks!

Bring an open mind and a playful heart!

We can’t wait to meet you!

One year of Queer Book Club! 🥳🏳️‍🌈 We can’t believe it’s already been a whole year of reading queer books, having meaningful conversations, and bringing community together through our love of books 🥹💕

If you haven’t made it to one of our meetups yet, no worries! There will be plenty more opportunities to join our Queer Book Club in Brooklyn. And you don’t even have to finish the book (or read it at all!) to come hang, connect, and join the group discussion 📖✨

Our one year anniversary meetup is coming up on September 27th! We’ll be gathering once again in Prospect Park for a picnic-style meetup while we discuss our current book, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. 🌳📚

We’ll also be having a book swap! So if you have books you’ve been meaning to donate, pass along, or simply give a new home, bring them with you and leave with a new book 🥰

Whether you’re looking for queer books, queer stories, community, or book discussions in Brooklyn, come join us! 💕

RSVP today at Pranaandpeace.com/queerbookclub ✨

Our last book club meet up was exactly what we all needed 🥰 Sunshine, snacks, and a good queer book to talk about together. We were so happy to see both new and familiar faces at this one ✨

We’re excited to say that we’re nearing our book club’s one year anniversary, and we’re hoping to make it a special one for all of you 🥹 Whether you’ve joined us once, twice, at every single meeting, or haven’t made it to one yet, we’d love to have you at our next meet up on September 27 💛

Details about the location will be coming soon, so stay up to date by signing up for our book club newsletter at pranaandpeace.com/queerbookclub 📚
