I'll be doing a five-minute comedy set raising money for @birminghamlgbt on November 29th after four weeks of training by @comedytrain_uk!

It will be my first set after training; I've done a couple of new material nights on my own, but never with training and for charity!

Please buy a ticket and pop by if you can!

There is no escaping the swarm. Once you’re in their sights, the only option is to hold on tight and face the wreckage of a post-apocalyptic world. Who’s brave enough to take flight?

👽 The UK's first winged roller coaster.

👽 Features a 127-foot lift hill and a drop that hits 59 mph.

👽 The ride includes 5 inversions and a unique "near miss" experience with shredded metal and fire effects.

👽 Riders are suspended on either side of the track, leaving your feet dangling in mid-air.

There is something truly primal about riding Wicker Man at night. 🌙 As the sun sets and the park plunges into darkness, the entire atmosphere shifts—the woodsmoke scent feels deeper, the air feels colder, and the anticipation in the dark queue is unmatched.

Because the track and wheel bearings warm up throughout the day, the coaster runs significantly faster and more intensely by the evening, making those final night rides feel like a completely different, adrenaline-fueled beast! 🔥

Here’s why the Wicker Man is a one-of-a-kind experience:

🔥 World’s First: It is the world’s first wooden roller coaster to fuse wood with spectacular fire effects.

🔥 Primal Design: Standing at 22 metres tall, the coaster features a massive six-storey wooden effigy that you hurtle through three separate times.

🔥 Speed & Thrills: The train reaches speeds of up to 44 mph, navigating 2,608 feet of wooden track.

🔥 Immersive Story: The ride is themed around the mysterious “Beornen” community and their pagan rituals, complete with a pre-show that builds the legend before you even board.

🔥 Technical Marvel: It was the first wooden roller coaster to be built in the UK in over two decades when it opened in 2018.

As the sun begins its descent over the Gothic towers of Alton Towers 🏰, the former home of Charles Talbot, the 15th Earl of Shrewsbury, the atmosphere undergoes a profound transformation ✨. The golden light softens the rugged stone of the historic manor, casting long, elegant shadows across the meticulously manicured gardens that once served as a private sanctuary for the Earl 🌿.

In this quiet corner of the estate, the frantic energy of the surrounding theme park fades into a distant hum; the mechanical roars of high-speed coasters 🎢 and the excited shouts of thrill-seekers are replaced by the gentle rustle of ancient trees and the evening call of birds 🕊️.

This shift from adrenaline to tranquility allows visitors to pause and breathe, finding a serene escape in the timeless beauty of the ruins, where the grandeur of the past offers a calming counterpoint to the modern-day pulse of the park 🌅.🌑🤘

@scaremaze with @queerlykai! We did Enola; it ended as you’d expect (most intense scare attraction in the UK apparently, pics not on main, here I try and keep some dignity 😝)
