Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for reaching out and being so supportive. As we mentioned before, we are moving the event due to overcrowding the area. There is a large Water Polo tournament happening the same day. Our new location is just a bit further down the peninsula. Saturday August 8th @ 12pm 72nd Place, Long Beach, CA. Please use the public parking lot, try not to impact parking in the residential streets. Respect the neighborhood and our beaches. Please help us spread the word about the new location, plan accordingly we are expecting a larger crowd than usual, due to all the hateful and homophobic comments.. and we are not backing down or hiding. Police has been very helpful and so has @cmkristinaduggan Councilwoman Duggan from the Third District, they all reached out and offered their support. They are happy we are moving forward with the meetup, and love that we are doing these type of events for our community. They also said they will be doing some extra patrolling in the area to make sure it’s all good. Please watch our socials for more updates and information. Can't wait to see you all!
