what I learned or was reminded of when I booked a trip to jamaica over 5 months ago and almost forgot until basically it was happening:

- food is medicine. always.

- it was my first time staying in a hostel and I will never look back. I met so many cool people from all over the world. we shared meals and stories and genuine connection with locals and visitors alike. mobay kotch has my heart 4ever.

- queer joy is here, has always been here, and will continue to be here. only the colonial war machine would have you believe otherwise.

- our only way through is to lean on our people. there is no governing body coming to save anyone. we keep us safe. we got each other.

+ I’ll be tabling with my neighbors @580tenantassociation tomorrow night. come thru — food and childcare provided!
