October has a funny way of making everyone in New York a @yankees fan.

Suddenly everyone has playoff tickets, the Yankees hat you’ve been wearing with a blazer for three years is being asked to perform its actual job & you’re wondering whether loafers can survive the 4 train, Stan’s & nine innings in the Bronx. Luckily, we know a girl.

Mervat El-Sherbiny, @dressmervup, is a celebrity athlete stylist, content creator & cofounder of the marketing agency @quellcreates. She is behind the tunnel fits of Yankees stars @_jazz3 & José Caballero & also works with athletes across the @nfl & @nba.

Before dressing some of the biggest names in sports, Merv spent six years in luxury buying & merchandising. In other words: Yankees access, fashion-girl taste & a closet we’d very much like to get into.

Because a night at Yankee Stadium presents a strangely specific wardrobe problem. What feels right in the bleachers, still feels like you & won’t look completely out of place if the night somehow ends below 14th Street?

Enough baseball to make sense at the Stadium. Not so much that you’re suddenly “actually really into sports, btw.”

Obviously, we needed to know what Merv wears to the game herself. So with postseason officially here, we handed our game-day wardrobe over to someone who literally dresses the Yankees.
