How has it already been 4 years? What a blessing this experience at TAMU has been. It feels like yesterday we were moving him into his dorm with tears in our eyes, but today we get to see him walk the stage. I honestly cannot put into words how proud we are of him. He is a first generation Aggie, will be graduating with a BA in Communications and a minor in Business. He was involved in a FLO (Freshman Leadership Organization), The Originals (a men’s org) and was a Fish camp counselor. He worked, paid for part of his college, made stellar grades and maintained a long distance relationship (until this year) with his high school sweetheart Emma. Somewhere along the way, College Station became home for him. He found lifelong friends, countless memories and independence. He has grown into a strong and resilient young man, and as his parents, we have been lucky enough to witness every step of the transformation. I pray that God blesses him abundantly through his next chapter of life. This isn’t goodbye; it is the beginning of something beautiful.
