The update that nobody asked for:
I’m not going to count how many days it’s been since I’ve been away from home, maybe 40 or so, not much, with no end yet in sight. I will not bore you with the details, but it has been undeniably different from my past trips when I always had a return ticket.

I won’t lie and say that it’s been awesomeness 24/7 for the past month and a half, but there is a palpable underlying sense of peace in knowing that I am, and have always been in control. For a long time I’ve been always second guessing myself and doubting the whole idea, but far too often I believe we tend to forget that at any given moment we can make a choice to change whatever it is that has been bothering us. It’s easy to be a slave of your own thoughts, that will imprison you within walls of fear if you start believing the lies they tell.

At the risk of sounding all melodramatic and pseudo-philosophical, I’d just like to remind you, who’s for whatever reason reading this, that you can absolutely do that thing that you’ve been wanting to do. It’s all a matter of choice, and priorities, and I get that I come from a place of privilege in many ways, but why leave things to chance when you can actually make a choice, you know?

Always happy to have a chat with anyone who wants to know anything or even just to chat, I may take some time to respond because I am a lazy asshole; but I love all you guys who have helped make this possible, whether pictured or not. You’ve all helped me out so much more than you could ever imagine and my heart truly aches at how beautiful human beings can really be. <3

Shitty dispo dump again from last month. Almost cried like a baby the day before my flight home. Thank you to everyone (including the people I didn’t manage to get a good picture of) for making the trip more special than I could ever even begin to imagine.
