We use titanium pucks underneath our Carbon Splitter for 2 reasons. 1. Protect our splitter when it makes contact with the race track. 2. Keep a gap between the splitter and the track at all times. The second reason is most important because at higher speeds we count on our downforce to help slow the car down and keep grip in the front tires. If the splitter touches the track preventing airflow underneath the car we lose our front downforce. This would prevent us from slowing the car down as fast as possible as well as creating an unbalanced car front to rear which can be dangerous in hard braking zones making the car more difficult to drive at the limit. #103familyracing #teamtick #tickperformance #awe #apexwheels #Corvette #corvetteracing #timetrials #timeattack #masstuning #c5 #c7 #c6 #z06 #grandsport #f1 #imsa #scca #nasa #transam #roadcourse #racing #comscc  #race #racecar #fyp #reels #capcut
