STRONGHER × QUINTA
A WOMEN-ONLY STRENGTH EXPERIENCE

🥇Dutch Champion Streetlifting -57kg

A week ago, I participated in my first streetlifting competition, won first place and pulled the new national muscle up record 🫡

I’ll share more about it later but life is busy and this needed to come first:

As you might know, I’m a fighter at heart but after having my second baby, I spent the past year focusing on recovery and rebuilding my strength. This competition meant more to me than just showing off how far I’ve come since giving birth. It was also a message to everyone who told me “just wait until you have a baby” and then “just wait until you have two”. To me, motherhood does not prevent but requires me to keep pursuing personal goals, showing my girls the importance of working hard, reaching high and taking care of your body and soul. I wouldn’t be able to do this without my man @max_motions of course. Your support means the world and seeing our girls grow up with a supportive, strong, loving and present father at their side means more than anything else ❤️

The prep started just 3 months ago and was short and spicy. @ronomoeljoryan saw the potential, made me sign up and - with little to no experience from my side- he made sure my programming was on point and I don’t go RPE 10 all day, every day (huge challenge tbh). The goal was to win and that’s exactly what we did. A great coach and
even better human being. Thank you! 🫶🏽🫡

Also huge thanks to @devanozaandam for stepping in last minute to help coaching while Ryan had to compete. The hype was real. Team @lockingym killed it 🦍🔥

@dutchstreetlifting.nl you guys put together an amazing event and your streetlifting cursus helped a lot with the prep and getting that national record. 10/10 recommend. Thanks to @hs.physio & @janknoest!!

Combining family life, work, the inflexibility of comp prep and cutting has definitely not been the easiest but we did it and seeing Nyima wearing my gold medal with so much pride made winning ten time sweeter. I’m blessed!
