QUINN | 2027 | COLORADO

One of my absolute favorite lakes with the little sister, all grown up, with the nicest family from Evergreen, Colorado...its Quinn!!

Cathy and I enjoyed every moment with this spunky country girl with the best giggle, adorable hair, and completely original outfits on a *gorgeous* summer evening last week!

Quinn plays flag football (MN has it now too, would love to see that in Bemidji!) like her sister did, and also wake surfs, but that’s about the end of the similarities between her and older sister Addison. Love that she did her jersey with jorts wake surfing! That sunset was fantastic, and the lake was like glass.

Her on the paddle board with her yellow embroidered jeans was making me swoon over the color harmony, and my goodness I was downright giddy with how it turned out! Her playfulness on the swing that has been there for years with their lake in the background too-can you see why I love that lake so much?!

The McEvers family has had their cabin for years and plan to retire up here in Minnesota, and while we zipped over to Leonard (okay how funny is it to say that I had a senior client from Colorado do photos in Leonard, MN, population 41, LOL!!) to shoot with the iconic doors, we did a few other creative spots with her denim dress and another dress, too. Turns out that the kids from that whole lake shore have played on that Leonard city park most of their lives! So naturally, I’d have to lay IN a slide to take that photo of Quinn on the “spinny thing”. Cathy reminded me it is a merry-go-round, but we sure did laugh at how us Gen-X’ers used to play on them!

I am so sad. I just got teary-eyed typing this. SOOOO many “lasts” this year of families I have photographed all of their kiddos, families that are so wonderful like this one, that I have to once again say goodbye to. At the end of a week where I’ve barely slept or eaten, I am feeling an enormous amount of gratitude that I get to do this incredible job and meet the PHENOMENAL people I have over the last 16 years.

Quinn: I adored you, and I can’t wait to show you all of your happy, beautiful photos!!
