Meet Quinn Blalock — an open-format and dance music DJ whose strength lives somewhere between instinct, energy, and connection.

For Quinn, a set is never simply a sequence of tracks. It is a conversation between sound, movement, and the people in the room — expressive, fluid, and shaped by the moment as it unfolds.

It is the philosophy behind what he calls “playful primal music” - rhythm without pretense, reaching the body before the mind has time to name it.

That freedom is where Quinn thrives. House, disco, dance, and open-format influences become part of something larger. Creating moments that feel spontaneous, communal, and impossible to recreate exactly the same way twice.

On Sunday, September 27, Quinn takes the 4P–5P set at The Coffee House Collective, carrying the afternoon into its final stretch before Babe’s resident DJ Robyn Carter closes the day.
