People Appreciation Post
Here we are at the end of these life-changing 5 months. This feels so unreal but I'll try to put my feelings into words. The people that I got to meet and spend time with here are just incredible, they are some of the most colorful, welcoming, caring and understanding of all and I'm forever grateful for each of them. I'm so glad I got the privilige to laugh, cry, learn and change with all of you, I know I'll never be the same after this experience, yall became such a huge part of my life. Thank you for showing me your country and culture, for helping me learn the language and for teaching me about music, life and most importantly love! I felt loved, and that made me realize not only the best qualities of the people I love, but my own best traits too. I grew up with you beautiful people, and in all honesty I can say, the hardest thing I've ever done was leaving you here. And no matter how much I love flying, I'm writing this on a plane I wish I weren't on. The only thing keeping me sane at the moment is the fact that I'll get to see my amazing friends and family from Hungary at the end, who I'm also really grateful for, they supported me from afar the whole time. I'll go back to my regular life now but I promise never to forget the people showing up for me throughout these 5 months. Minnesota became home away from home for me that I know I can always return to, but just know, there's a place you all are welcome to at absolutely any time: my home. No matter when, or for how long, my doors will always be open for all of you who opened yours for me. With that I'll say farewell, but remember, "this is not goodbye it's just until we meet again". Thank you all for everything, I love you so much!❤️
