SOF Family Preservation 🇺🇸

This weekend at Johnson Farm Special Operations families came together for a powerful day of connection, outdoor adventure, and lasting memories. From learning BB gun safety and duck calling, to fishing, archery, kayaking, and swimming in the lake, every moment was filled with purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Strouds BBQ @stroudsbbq (Sean Stroud) for the phenomenal BBQ, and to @outlanderschicken (Brian Summers) for crowd favorites like their fried chicken and mac & cheese balls, your generosity made the day even more special.

We were honored to host almost 70 guests, and none of it would’ve been possible without the dedicated volunteers and donors who brought this vision to life. Special recognition to @edhasselbring and @scojolicious , your support is nothing short of extraordinary.
Plus Michael Taylor, Kyle Jones, Wade Conway, @r.t.wingo and @lakecolee , @henderson_clay , Shannon Myers, Chip Voorhis, Byron Boyd, Britt and Gentry Johnson, David Franz, @bgoodman30 , Brent Netherland, Ken Maynard, John Houseman, Kyle T Jones, Julian King, Jason T, and Brian Engel.

Huge thanks to @deltawaterfowlnash for providing duck calls and hats, and to a generous private donor, Overwatch Alliance, for providing us the resources to give back to those who serve our nation.

Gratitude doesn’t begin to cover it. Together, we’re not just creating fun days, we’re building stronger families and resilient futures. 💪❤️

@lakecolee and @r.t.wingo took us out on Old Hickory in #theredboat, yesterday morning. The boys caught at least 30 fish and 5 different species, including some nice smallmouth. I can count the number of times I’ve been on OHL on one hand, but I guarantee we will be back soon. It was a great morning. 🎣

TWENTY YEARS!!! @clwingo says I always post the same pictures on our anniversary, so here a bunch of new ones (and one classic). We were born in the 1900s, so our photos are on paper. Happy Anniversary, Christie!!! I love you more every single day. 💍

Personal post: I was trying to make this sound off the cuff and light and fun, but it wasn’t feeling genuine.

So here it is - we support @mnpsnashville - we are all in. We want to see the schools in our cluster be the natural next step as kids transition from elementary to middle to high school. We are choosing to be part of this cluster community and we want to build this community. And sometimes that doesn’t mean big monumental things; sometimes it’s hosting a tailgate before the Overton/Hillsboro Friday night football game and even inviting some of our favorite rivals. 😉

It made me so happy to see kids from @crievehallelementary @croftmiddlemnps @jtmoore.middle.school @overtonbobcats and @hillsboroburros all together, playing jackpot in the backyard, eating burgers and dogs and then heading over to the field to cheer on their teams.

It doesn’t take much, but it takes a village.

Bobcats won, btw - let’s goooooo!
❤️🖤

It has been a wild 5 weeks of 12u All Stars with @crievehallgirlssoftball. Congrats to our team for going 8-0 and winning both Metro Tourneys this summer. Everyone head to camps and hit the pool for a well deserved rest. Let’s get back on the field in 5 weeks. #ballinthehall
