The last few messages I got from @lihzkhalifaa that I’ll cherish forever. She was one of my number one cheerleaders till the very end. My heart is broken. 💔

It’s been a few days and I’m still processing that she’s gone. I just can’t bring myself to believe it. Looking back on all these memories we had together and smiling and laughing feels so bittersweet today.

These past few days have been filled with remembering the warmth of our memories together and the deep sadness knowing I can’t make anymore with her.

The best way to honor her now is to live on for her. To live the full life she deserved to live. To continue to fight for the dreams she always encouraged me to pursue.

I always thought that she’d be there to grow old with me. To come with me on my journey as I continued to pursue my music dreams. To be there on her wedding day, and have her there on mine. To be an auntie to my kids one day. To be an uncle to hers. To travel the world with her. We wanted to do so much more together.

Lihz, I’ll have a hole in my heart forever knowing we can’t do life together anymore. The life we lived together will be some of my most cherished memories of my 20s. You’re one of the best friends I ever had. I still can’t believe that you’re gone. I promise to keep your memory alive always. I promise to live a life you’d be proud of. And I promise to fight for all the dreams I always told you about.
