GRAMMAR POLICE: EDU-PATROL UNIT 🚔✨

When English starts acting suspicious… we show up 😎
From “I dreamed it all since I was young” ❌ to “I have dreamed” ✔
From “And it don't change” ❌ to “It doesn't change” ✔
From “Because the traffic was terrible, SO I arrived late” ❌ to “Because the traffic was terrible, I arrived late” ✔
and From “She drives a Jeep and live on the beach” ❌ to “She drives a Jeep and lives on the beach” ✔

@raafnsh

Remember:
Music is about expression, but knowing the rules is your superpower!

Stay curious and keep practicing. Grammar Police, signing off! 🚨

POV: me and my bro become the Grammar Police bc your fav songs are NOT grammatically correct 💀🚔

🚨🚨 GRAMMAR 911 🚨🚨
We caught these opps LACKING:

1. Bruno Mars - "should've gave you all my hours"
😭 Bro forgot V3 exists for PERFECT TENSE…
✅ It’s “should’ve GIVEN you all my hours” gang.
You’re literally crying on piano but can’t use past participle?? LOCK HIM UP 🔒💅

2. Olivia Rodrigo - "you sunk your teeth into me"
🧛‍♀️🩸 Girl… if you don't use “have”, please use V2.
It’s “you SANK your teeth into me” not “SUNK”
😵‍💫 You’re the vampire but your grammar got drained fr.

3. The “it don’t” epidemic ☠️
Adele: “it don't”
Bruno: “it don't”
The Script: “it don't”
💔 Y’all… that's illegal... “IT” is singular. It’s “DOESN’T” 😭

4. Olivia again - “And I told my friends… but I never said…”
🥀 Girl, that’s connector abuse. “And” + “But” in one breath?? Pick a struggle. Use “Additionally” / "Furthermore" if you’re fancy 💅

5. Adele - “should I give up, or should I just keep chasing pavements?” 🚶‍♀️
💔 Parallelism left the chat “Give up” vs “chasing” = not twins.
Make it “giving up” or “chase”. Balance your verbs queen ⚖️

Verdict: 10/10 bangers and 0/10 grammar. But we still streaming tho 🎶🙏
Tag ur friend who says “it don’t matter” IRL 😂👇

Fachry Fahrulrozy (FITK/PBIO)

*NOTE ‼️
They are intentionally unserious with grammar for the sake of vibes 😌✨ Song = Art, not TOEFL. But we still roast because it's funny 🫵😂

[September 26–28, 2025: Model OIC 2025 and Diplomacy Youth Forum]

✨ I'm truly honored to be part of the Model OIC Conference & Diplomacy Youth Forum 2025, hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia @kemlu_ri, OIC Youth Indonesia @oicyouthindonesia, and DPP IMM @dpp.imm. This program is designed to train future young diplomats and simulate the OIC conference setting.

Big thanks to Bang @rafliansyah.sipalinghi for the opportunity and making it possible for me to join this forum through their invitation to me. 🙏

Representing Lebanon as my delegation was such a special experience—partly because I’m a huge fan of Nancy Ajram, so I couldn’t resist taking on that role! 🎶🇱🇧

Beyond the sessions, i'm as a student from Universitas Terbuka @univterbuka @ut_jakarta grateful to have met so many inspiring students from diverse universities accross Indonesia and even Asia who made this journey even more meaningful.

To top it all off, I was humbled to receive the Honorable Mention award at the Model OIC Conference. 🏅

This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. 🌍✨
