Lake Murray Bassmaster championship was not what I hoped for. 5 days of practice over 60 miles covered and never figured anything out. 3 fish each day and lost 1 each day. But my goal from the season was to qualify and top 50 each regular season event. Which I did 3 out of the 4 events I fished. Already ready for next season. Next year we are making a run at it! Thank you to Bassmaster and @steve_owens_0207 for all the work his does and we are taking kayak fishing to the next level! Hope everyone enjoyed my livestreams. We will be doing more soon!

🚨 NEW VIDEO IS LIVE! 🚨

I just got my hands on some of the most unique lures I've ever seen! A tackle company recently moved their operations right here to Greenville, NC, and they are doing something completely different: tying real rabbit hair into their bug lures, jerkbaits, and jig heads! 🐰

I’m unboxing a huge haul of these today to prep for an epic upcoming trip with Joey. It’s been nearly 3 years since we last got out on the water together, and I am pumped to put these to the test. The hair gives these baits an incredibly fluid, natural action that is perfect for absolutely any kind of fishing.

Head to the link in my bio to check out the full unboxing on the channel, and let me know in the comments if you've ever thrown a hair-tied bait! 🎣👇

Honestly thank you all! My goal this season was to top 50 every event to make the Bassmaster Championship. I was able to do that in 3 out of the 4 events I fished! I’ve learned so much and can’t wait to continue to learn and get better. Time on the water can’t be beat when trying to get better. Get out there and go fishing!

Man did it feel good to fish a bassmaster where I’ve actually fished before 🤣. Though in the two years I fished it before I moved away I still haven’t seen much of the river. So we spent the whole week floating new sections catching 88-90” a day with bites to do better. Settled in an area that I thought would have less pressure which it did. Day 1 finished 31st out of 184 with 87.75” with some missed opportunities and a broken rod. Nobody will ever fish clean with those crazy smallmouth. Just need luck or a ton of quality bites to give yourself a shot. Day 2 weather was totally different made the adjustment and fished very clean but not perfect. Ended with 88.25” and 30th out of 184 for the day and a broken paddle. In the end I finished 27th out of 184 for my 4th Bassmaster event of the season. I’m very excited to see where that lands me in angler of the year. I should have enough to qualify for my first Bassmaster championship in October! Such a fun week with friends and if you ever want to fish the susky prepare to walk a lot and break stuff 🤣

Finally able to fish a local tournament again. It’s been awhile it feels like. I got to practice here once and put up 91-92”. But I realized this morning the lake is a foot lower than when I practiced it. So it changed up one of my key areas. But I was able to catch one of my big ones on the spro bronzeye frog. The rest of my fish came on the queen tackle magnum 20 urchin bait. Hate them all you want but these urchin baits flat out catch fish! Sadly lost first by 0.25”. to Todd. But he’s a hammer and it’s his home lake so to almost beat him my second time there is a win in my book! Congrats to the rest of the field!
