I love Love 🥹🥰

Tim & Sarah - Thank you for letting me be apart of such an important day. The love you both radiate into the world is something out of a book. I am so blessed to have both of you in my life and to be able to call you guys family.

Not so fun fact: I got into a car accident 24 hours BEFORE the wedding with Sarah👰🏼‍♀️ and Tim’s sister, Sarah in the car. 😅 Our guardian angels worked overtime so no one was injured (my poor car was totaled tho). The amount of love and support and help that showed up was incredible. It is because of Sarah and Tim. Thank you two for being you.

Shoutout to Mom and Dad😉, Ashlee & Tony, who did all of the leg work with the police and insurance. 🥹 I can never thank you guys enough. ❤️

A few weeks ago, I had a lot of fun nerding out on one of my favorite topics of the moment: the impact and implications of AI on the #rightofpublicity. A massive perk of becoming a celebrity or social media influencer is the ability to monetize that individual’s name, voice, image and likeness (aka “NIL”). What happens when AI can easily replicate that NIL without the celebrity’s knowledge or consent? How can you monitor and protect against the misappropriation of NIL and guard against #deepfakes? In typical fashion, the law is often several steps behind the technology. The Right of Publicity varies state by state but should Congress enact federal legislature to provide a consistent and protective safeguard, making NIL another kind of federally protected intellectual property asset?

Thanks to Leah Norod, Carrie Goldberg and Justin M. Jacobson, Esq. for a great discussion. Many thanks as well to Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society (BESLS) and Brooklyn Law School for organizing such a fun entertainment law symposium. Special shout out to Raegan Brizek for all her effort and Jean Joun for the warm welcome!

Last Thursday, April 11, we held our annual BESLS x IPLA Alumni Dinner✨ It was such a treat to see old friends and colleagues, and to honor this year’s BESLS Alumni Honoree, David Bayer ’13 (Labor Relations Counsel, NFL) 👏👏👏 Thank you to everyone who came and made the night special – let’s do it all again next year! 🥂🥂🥂

being a panelist at @brooklynlawschool annual Entertainment Symposium was a huge honor ❤️❤️ I was the only student on our panel, surrounded by lawyers with MUCH more impressive resumes and experiences. Still, they welcomed me with open arms and asked to hear my perspectives about Influencer Advertising. As I approach graduation season, I’m reminded of how far I’ve come, how much I’ve learned, and how powerful you girls are!!!! I could feel an angel looking out for me all weekend 🕊️🕊️🕊️
