The Desire Ritual 🌱 We gathered in preparation for the Spring Equinox… a time to grow and take up space. Instead of placing the goals first, we placed ourselves first. Instead of powering through the cycles of pain and dis-ease, we looked for direction in desire. The questions we usually ask when we find ourselves in a painful/fearful/exhausting cycle is “Why is this happening?” “How do I stop it?” “Who or what can I change to make it stop?” Where our focus goes, our energy flows. Focus on the lack, the pain, the fear to magnify it. Or focus on the desire, the want, the need to magnify it. We shifted our focus and asked “What do I want that I’m not getting?” “Why am I ignoring my desire right now?” “Where is the path to what I want?” This ritual reminded me why desire is a necessary practice. We are complex beings with layers and layers of hurt and hope ☯️ We MUST let our needs escalate into relentless desire. We must let it get loud enough drown out all the things that pull us away from ourselves. Radical desire is a direct opposition to self-abandonment. You have the answers. I have the answers. And desire is the way. 💛 #houstonyoga #springequinox #innercompass

My baby is 7 years old!!! His love and passion for music is so inspiring to me 😍 I can’t wait to see him grow with it. He’s had a love for metal & an ear for timing since he was a baby. Can you believe he has never had a drum lesson?! He is self taught 😍 My sweet JKC client has been following my page and Ender’s journey for a while now… she reached out not that long ago and asked if she could give him an acoustic drum set that her son used to play in the 90s. Of course I said YES! Come to find out it’s a rare vintage set that’s hard to come by these days. Thanks to @zakyourselph for cleaning them up and picking up the extra parts needed to make it brand new again 🙌🏼 Shout out to @nanny.syd @acidbarrett for showing him Metallica back in the day 🤘🏼 So proud of my boy and all that he is 🥹 @rogersdrums #drums #drummer #vintagedrums #drummerboy #metal #rockandroll #futurerockstar #lovehim #myboy #birthday #dreamsdocometrue #followyourdreams #passion #art #music

New year, same badass warrior mama getting stronger every day! Excited to get my first sweat sesh on for 2021 as part of my commitment for a safe and healthy pregnancy. Plus, I need the extra energy to help keep up with my tornado toddler. 😂 25 minutes in my garage and I’m done. It may not seem like a lot of time, but when you do the right moves, it’s all you need. 😉 If there are any other moms looking for quick and easy workouts you can do at home, let me know and I can set you up with a free sample! Tag me if you got some movement in for Day 1 of the new year! . . . . . . .
