This was our last night together in the city of blinding lights, after move-in. To say I was overwhelmed is an understatement. As I stood there watching all the parents move their children in, all the dads doing the heavy lifting and carrying boxes and bags, a part of me was heartbroken at being a single mom doing it all alone. The two of us dragging bags and luggage out of the uber to the side walk as we waited for carts to become available. In that moment I was angry at the man that has failed her and the failed relationships that have disappointed not only myself but also my children. After we got up to her dorm and began unpacking and putting her room together, I stood there and realized what bad ass bitches we both were for doing it all alone! How a broke single mom who works two jobs and is also a full time student, and a 17 year old, moved her across the country without her ever even visiting NY, to establish what will be the most exciting time of her life! All I could think is “we fucking did it”! Thank you to everyone that donated to her gofund me and generously gave her graduation money. Without you, her move and part of our out of pocket tuition, would have never been possible. We are forever grateful 🖤

Orientation for parents and students is now complete.Tomorrow we have breakfast and we say our goodbye. Not looking forward to it, but I’m also so incredibly proud and excited for @rachel.limbach’s new adventure! This is EVERYTHING @lovveaddictt would have wanted for her, and for himself! She’s living the dream they both dreamt of!🖤

Even preparing to take @rachel.limbach to college reminds us of the reality that has become our lives. Though excitement fils our hearts, sadness for everything Andrew is missing is very much present. I know that taking him with her, is something that will bring her comfort as she navigates life on her own. We miss you, kid. Keep an eye on her for us 🖤

Last week @rachel.limbach finished her school career at the amazing @csartssgv Our day started with visiting her kindergarten teacher @kimberly.gero.3 and thanking the best school security staff! She had the most important people that helped mold and raise her, attend her graduation, including her second mom, my wifey, her step baby daddy, her step in big brother, big brother, sissy in law, aunt, and grandparents. We celebrated her at @musicmas60 delicious Alex Di Peppe’s with some of our most special people. I know @lovveaddictt was with her that day, and everyday, for the rest of your life! We are so proud of you, Mimi! We love you and can’t wait to see your future unfold. 🖤
