We made it to the podium again! Another BRONZE for our Children’s Large Group Tap - Rhythm & Rules…. and just 0.1 mark away from Silver! We are so incredibly proud of this group. Half of them were young enough to be in the mini section! Choreographed by our extremely talented Miss Rachel, who has the experience & skills to showcase everyone, no matter their age or ability! Congratulations to you all! What a way to finish the most incredible week for our younger team, we are so proud of each & every one of you. 🔥💫 📍 @danceworldcup @dwc_uk_teams 2026 Sponsors @bd_property_maintenance @allenspeechandlanguage @swimmers_at_lfc Copak Ltd

8TH IN THE WORLD out of 37 incredible tappers, with a whopping mark of 90.5! It was so tight at the top with just 5 marks between 8th & Gold! The Judge said the standard of tap was the highest he’d ever seen from this age group. Congratulations @scarlet_squier You absolutely ooze style & charisma & we never tire of watching you perform. Another pinch me moment! It’s a SILVER for our Children’s Large Showstopper - Big Bass Drum! This routine has been on such a journey! After winning Gold as a large tap group at DWC last year, it evolved into a Jazz & Tap fusion for the CYD finals. It won in the England DWC heats and has now placed 2nd in the world! This routine includes all of our children who wished to take part in DWC this year. Ranging from 8-13yrs & Grades 2-Intermediate… proving that inclusivity & success can go hand in hand. Choreographed by our wonderful props Queen Miss Rachel … we may curse those drums but there is something magical about this routine! Congratulations Team CDS! 🔥💫 📍 @danceworldcup @dwc_uk_teams 2026 Sponsors @bd_property_maintenance @allenspeechandlanguage @swimmers_at_lfc Copak Ltd

IT’S A BRONZE MEDAL for our first dance at DWC 2026 and a clean sweep for Team England in the Children’s Large Group Lyrical section! What a way to start! Every one of our young team has a medal! Our large groups this year are a real mix of ages, abilities… and personalities! And yet they have all worked so incredibly well together, displaying real team spirit. Thank you to Miss Rachel for her stunning choreography and to our amazing @emiliagoodmanx for assisting… such a stickler for pattern, precision & performance! And thank you to the wonderful team of teachers that train our team, week in, week out… team work makes the dream work! Congratulations to all the other schools we are so honoured to be sharing the stage with! Fingers crossed for the rest of the week! 🔥💫 📍 @danceworldcup @dwc_uk_teams Thank you to our amazing 2026 sponsors @bd_property_maintenance @allenspeechandlanguage @swimmers_at_lfc Copak Ltd
