Connecting RDHAPs & Dentists at UOP! 🌁
RDHAP Connect had a great showing at the Minimally Invasive Dentistry Symposium at the University of the Pacific in SF!

Pictured: RDHAPs Julie Singh & Rachel Watts, who shared our scope of practice and helped dentists learn how to connect with RDHAPs in their area.

Several business cards were picked up—real connections are happening!

Know a local event where RDHAP Connect should show up? Let us know! 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾#rdhapconnect #continuingeducation #equity #awareness #dugonischool

When you ask a dental hygienist to use the pink alginate… and the office turns into a cotton candy crime scene.

We might be great at scaling and polishing—but this impression material has other plans.

Tag your messy alginate partner in crime.
Drop a “been there!” if this gave you flashbacks.
We’re just out here trying to make molds… not murals.

Follow us for more behind-the-scenes dental chaos & clean smiles.

Full circle ⭕️ moment today!!! I was invited to speak at my old college to the undergrad class in Dental Hygiene about furthering their education and becoming a RDHAP. Highlight of the day was waking through the halls and clinic that I spent endless hours studying and dreaming of my career!!! Was a moment to remember when my professor kindly asked me to call her by her first name now that we are peers! Truly honored!!! Thank you class of 2024 for having me and congratulations to you all and your 🦷 journey ahead! 🎉👏🏼

👋 Hello! My name is Dana. Here to fill you in about Hygienists operating their OWN business in CA!

A Hygienist can be a midlevel provider to fill the gap in dental care. Alternative practicing hygienist is also known as a RDHAP.

We serve people on-site in their residence / rest home🏡 hospital 🏥 or senior living community 👵.

This is a surprise to many in my everyday life.

We’d like to improve awareness and improve lives one hygiene service at a time. If you agree, that dental care should be available to homebound and disabled communities please like, share, and comment. 💜🦷

☀️Please share to get the word out!👉

📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣
Please also support my fellow RDHAP(s) tagged on this post that are making a difference in their communities!!! It takes a big heart and dedication while caring for the homebound, disabled, and title I school communities! RDHAP Strong 💪

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! 💜

🎶Whatever happened to predictability?🎶

If there’s something you can always predict, it’s that EBC is going to have a good time when we get together!

Thanks to @smyle_essentials for hosting our last meeting in their beautiful office space and giving us some room to play😉

This Barbie is a proud EBC member!

Couldn’t help ourselves with all the Barbie-mania going on, EBC had to get it on the action at our last meeting!

So proud of Cynthia and her passion for being a voice to help RDH and RDHAPs profession grow! She had the opportunity this week to meet with legislators in Sacramento and share her personal story of becoming an RDHAP and the hurdles we’ve endured to help bring affordable dental care to ALL. We want to continue our efforts in helping more people as we grow and supporting other RDHAPs open practices of their own! If you are not a CDHA member yet, be sure to join ASAP to be a bigger voice and keep our profession evolving! #legislativeday #cdha #eastbaycomponent #rdh #rdhap #strongertogether
